• Experience with our web stack technologies django and vue js would be a bonus, as it would let you work on both our web and mobile stacks but not a requirement.

• The right applicant would have the following skillset:

Required:

• 5 or more years’ industry experience building Android native applications with Java or Kotlin
• Deep understanding of principles and architectures related to Android development, e.g. reactive programming, architecture components, responsive UI, multithreading, and others
• Deep understanding of the principles of programming and software development, especially usage of common data structures, OOP, clean code, legacy code e.t.c
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI pipelines for Android, and deploying apps to Google Play Store
• Proven team leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to get things done
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies like AWS/Google Cloud/Azure
• Should have good experience in Firebase and its services like Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Remote Config and others.
• Should have good experience in App monitoring services like Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance, A/B switching.
• Experience with rapidly identifying and fixing issues raised by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good communicator, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Capability to transform abstract requirements from stakeholders into technical specifications
• Proven experience mentoring/coaching less experienced developers
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software. Breakdown complex projects/epics/epics/stories into achievable tasks for developers.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
