As a Vehicle Service Mechanic, you'll apply your expertise in automotive technology, diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues efficiently. With a focus on attention to detail and problem-solving skills, you'll ensure vehicles receive top-notch maintenance, meeting the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspecting and diagnosing engine and part faults.
Fitting, testing, and servicing motor vehicles and motorcycle engines.
Replacing engine components or complete engines.
Examining, adjusting, dismantling, and rebuilding defective parts of motor vehicles.
Installing or adjusting motors, brakes, and steering systems.
Installing, adjusting, and replacing mechatronics components of motor vehicles.
Performing scheduled maintenance services for smoother vehicle operation and pollution regulation compliance.
Reassembling engines and parts after repair.
Inspecting and repairing electrical systems.
Conducting diagnostic tests and road tests.
Offering technical advice and assistance to customers.
Maintaining accurate repair and service records.
Requirements
Education: a certificate or diploma in automotive technology from a recognized technical or vocational institution.
Experience: a minimum of one year in the automotive environment.
Skills: Mechanics should possess a diverse set of technical skills, encompassing the ability to diagnose vehicle issues, execute repairs and maintenance tasks proficiently, and effectively utilize various tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
