The International Rescue Committee is a global humanitarian aid, relief and development nongovernmental organization.
Job Overview:
The International Rescue Committee has recently redesigned its approach to policy and advocacy, placing even greater focus on robust policy and solution development. This is an exciting moment to join the team and, as the Vice President, Policy, become a senior leader at the epicentre of IRCs idea marketplace: the solution network. You will be responsible for developing scalable, high-impact and pragmatic solutions. You seek to make the most of IRC’s knowledge across teams and look for new and creative partnerships outside the organization. You have a network of policy analysts and policy makers that enable you to rapidly test new ideas. Working closely with the Vice President, Advocacy, your teams are clear communicators that distil the complexity of policy for a range of audiences. You will be somebody who wants to lead a team of innovators, change makers and policy networkers. You will inspire bringing together the brain trust that can unlock solutions for our clients. This team is bold, quick moving, open to new ideas, and collaborative, working in lockstep with IRC’s broader External Relations Department to deliver on shared policy, profile and funding objectives.
