Job Purpose

• To provide efficient and courteous food service to patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring adherence to hospital hygiene and dietary standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to patients, staff, and guests promptly and professionally.
• Assist patients with meal setup where necessary, observing dietary instructions.
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of food from kitchen to service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and serving areas.
• Collect used trays, utensils, and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.
• Communicate patient feedback or dietary concerns to the kitchen team.
• Adhere to infection prevention, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Support stock control and replenishment of service items.

Qualifications & Requirements

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
• Certificate in Food & Beverage Service or Hospitality is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in a hospital or hospitality setup is preferred.
