Waiter/Waitress at Kinness Foods

Reporting to: Restaurant Manager
Supervision: None

PURPOSE:
Ensure timely, quality and professional service to all restaurant guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming guests/customers and taking their orders. To this end ensure that you are to be present at your work station at all times as required; customers should not be kept waiting for service unnecessarily. Proper handover should be done during periods absent from the work station e.g during meal breaks.
• Serving guests and ensuring proper portioning of all foods. Observe professionalism during service to include polite and pleasant address to the guests and proper presentationof foods/drinks served to the guests.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the service area at all times
• Anticipate guest/customer needs and ensure all items needed for service are available for speedy service.
• Maintain documentation as required.
• Be accountable for all stock items issued for sale
