Warehouse Manager at Mabati Rolling Mills Limited (MRM)

Responsibilities:

To lead BU inventory and warehouse management strategy and efficient execution. The position will examine existing procedures/processes and streamline activities in such a way that customer requirements are met on time in full and at the lowest possible cost. The position will also identify process improvement opportunities and implement alternative methods to increase efficiencies, product and process quality, reduce costs and improve overall service. Optimizing Warehouse operations through effective space & capacity utilization, increasing picking & put-away efficiency to achieve maximum throughput. Finally, the position will fulfil a central coordinating role between sales & production departments as well as with suppliers and customers, balancing their different priorities and limitations to reach optimal solutions for the company as a whole.

Candidate Specification:

Qualifications  required:

• Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree
• Qualifications as an added advantage: Certified Course in Supply Chain
• Professional registration: IIMM / IFPSM / CIPS / APICS

Experience required:

• General work experience (years): 15+ years in ERP based Supply Chain
• Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 5 years in a similar role
• Industry: Manufacturing, Consumer goods
