E.O.C Desk Assistant Volunteer at Kenya Red Cross Society

E.O.C Desk Assistant Qualifications 

• Should have a Degree or a Diploma in Disaster Management or any other related field
• MUST have been in KRCS as a registered member in a branch for at least 2 years.
• Understands the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement ideals.
• MUST have undergone an RCAT Training.
• Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point.
• Ability to manage workload and work within given parameters to deadlines and targets.
• Strong report writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Swahili).

Responsibilities 

• Monitoring and Coordination of disaster response across the country.
• Maintenance of the E.O.C equipment.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly situation reports.
• Manage the center queries through various communication platforms.
• Prepare and circulate emergency alerts.
• Monitoring of ongoing trends and offer advisory.
• Disseminate KRCS ideals and emergency response SOPs.
