There are millions of charities and social enterprises around the world. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes but most are resource poor. This means that despite pressures for them to become more open and transparent, to innovate and change, there has been little investment in improving sector wide sharing and learning.
Consequently, organisations struggle to learn from the successes and failures of others, continue to duplicate efforts and overlook opportunities to create greater social change.
Ekspi wants to change this. We plan to create a knowledge and skills sharing marketplace, which will allow charities and social enterprises a space to showcase their work while also being able to get information and source expertise easily and effectively.
By enabling charities and social enterprises to get the information and expertise they need, when they need it, they will be able to raise the quality of the programmes they deliver, reduce the time they spend reinventing the wheel and increase cost savings through greater productivity.
We want to help charities and social enterprises to do good, better.

Who we are
We are a small team who have come together because we all passionate about using technology to make charities & social enterprises more effective.
After years working for charities we had grown frustrated by the duplication of efforts, the inefficient processes and lack of funding directed to solving these problems, all giving the sector a bad name. We also saw an opportunity and Ekspi was born.
What do we charge?
It is completely free and will always be free to register, create a profile and post and apply to assignments. We will introduce a small transaction fee in June 2017, but only when someone is actually hired, not for posting an advert or applying for an assignment which may end in failure.
If you are interested in using us for more than the above then you can hire Ekspi to work like an agency but for 1/3rd of the cost. We proactively find candidates for your role for a flat $595 fee. If you would like us to proactively find candidates for your role, vet and handpick appropriate candidates we charge $1,700 for the entire process.
