This encompasses addressing issues of accessibility, affordability and quality. Hospices and Palliative care providers take care of patients with life limiting and incurable illnesses, with the aim of improving their quality of life, and providing relief of suffering through early identification, treatment of pain, holistic treatment of other problems including the physical, psychosocial and spiritual, and supporting their families and caregivers.
