Organisations very diverse ... read morein terms of background and experience, which are sharing the common goal of introducing to the Italian philanthropic community the concept of Impact Investing: to deploy investment capital in the development of sustainable enterprises, capable to trigger relevant social change and contribute to poverty alleviation. In particular, we focus on businesses that offer effective solutions to alleviate the most urgent problems affecting the low-income population, the so-called "Bottom of the Pyramid" (BoP): over 4 billion people who, despite being economically active, cannot access the basic services, and live in situations of high uncertainty.
