The Society has over 16,000 members who were initially drawn from the energy Sector companies namely Kenya Power and Lighting Company Limited (KPLC), Kenya ‘Generation Company (KenGen), Rural Electrification a... read morend Renewabe Energy (REREC), Geothermal Development Company (GDC), Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (Ketraco), Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Aggreko Power E.A Ltd, Wartsila Power, Rabai Power, Tsavo Power, Oryx Energy’s among others. The society has opened its’ membership to the general public; individuals, private bodies, registered chamas and groups.
As an investment Society registered under the Co-operative Societies Act Cap 490, the main business is to add value to members’ investments by prudently investing their resources in secure investments thus maximizing their returns. Our main areas of operation are;
Buying and selling of land to both members and non-members.
Investing in financial assets.
Investment in Commercial property.
Investment in residential property.
