• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant degree required.
• 10 years of experience in a management capacity in the private sector, large NGO or development consulting firm.
• At least five years of experience managing operations in a USAID program.
• Strong knowledge of USAID rules and regulations.

• Minimum of five to seven years work experience in M&E management with an international development organization
• Experience in developing or managing M&E databases and tools used for the collection and analysis of data.
• Experience with statistical software, GIS, and creation of infographics, preferred.

• 10 years of experience (15 preferred) in financial projects and/or banking sector
• 5 years of experience in financial projects, venture capital, private equity, blended capital transactions, and/or banking sector in developing countries
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the Kenyan financial sector is preferred
• Masters degree in Finance or Banking
• Previous USAID experience is preferred.

• An advanced degree in a related field of study, such as Finance and Investment, Business Management, and Enterprise Development
• Proven leadership in the administration of similar size international donor support programs with skills in strategic planning, management, supervision, budgeting.
• Proven ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse partners and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of Kenyan finance and investment sector preferred

• At least five years of experience in a USAID program, managing grants and subcontracts.
• Previous experience in using grants to catalyze innovation and entrepreneurship is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of USAID rules and regulations pertaining to grants management.
• Good knowledge of Kenyan laws and regulations.
