    Sales and Marketing Associate (Somali Speaking)

    Job Purpose:

    The Sales & Marketing Associate will be responsible for driving outreach, awareness, and client acquisition within Somali-speaking communities. The role involves promoting career development services through both digital and community channels, creating engaging content, and building meaningful partnerships with institutions such as schools, NGOs, and universities. The ideal candidate is persuasive, well-connected, and passionate about empowering youth and job seekers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Promote career development services through community events, social media, and one-on-one outreach.
    • Convert leads into paying clients through personalized follow-up and persuasive sales techniques.
    • Create and share video content (e.g., reels, testimonials) to support marketing efforts.
    • Execute culturally appropriate marketing campaigns that resonate with the Somali-speaking audience.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to localize messaging and refine sales strategies.

    Community Outreach & Engagement:

    • Build trust and visibility within Somali-speaking and Muslim communities.
    • Engage youth groups, job seekers, schools, religious institutions, and informal community hubs.
    • Represent the company at relevant events and facilitate on-the-ground promotions.

    Partnership Development:

    • Identify opportunities for collaboration with Islamic universities, NGOs, madrassas, and training centers.
    • Prepare and present partnership proposals tailored to each institutions needs.
    • Negotiate and formalize agreements that expand brand visibility and service uptake.

    Reporting & Insight Sharing:

    • Track daily outreach activities, new leads, and conversion rates.
    • Share community feedback and emerging trends with the internal team.
    • Submit weekly performance reports to the management team with actionable insights.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Fluency in Somali (spoken and written) is a must. Swahili or Arabic are a plus.
    • 1-3 years experience in sales, field marketing, community mobilization or partnerships.
    • Strong personal network within Somali or Muslim communities across Kenya.
    • Exposure to digital marketing or content creation (video, social media) is desirable.
    • Ability to write basic proposals and communicate clearly and professionally.

    • Proficient in using WhatsApp, Facebook, and LinkedIn for outreach.

    Head Creative Director

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership

    • Define, evolve, and communicate the group creative vision, positioning the brand as a market leader.
    • Develop creative strategies aligned with both global brand standards and local market needs.
    • Serve as the creative authority across the group, engaging C-suite leadership to position creativity as a business driver.

    Creative & Operational Oversight

    • Lead end-to-end creative development, from concept to execution.
    • Oversee integrated campaigns, digital content, product experiences, and more.
    • Implement agile, scalable workflows and creative governance across all markets.

    Budget & Resource Management

    • Develop and manage the creative budget, ensuring ROI and optimal resource allocation.

    • Build and lead a diverse, high-performing creative team.
    • Mentor and coach creative leaders, set clear goals, and foster a culture of growth and collaboration.

    Performance & Quality Assurance

    • Establish KPIs to measure creative impact and effectiveness.
    • Ensure brand consistency and regulatory compliance across all creative output.
    • Maintain and manage creative assets and brand libraries.

    Financial & Geographic Scope

    • Responsible for the global creative departmental budget and major vendor contracts.
    • The role has a global remit, with a focus on current and future African markets.

    Qualifications:

    Academic & Professional

    • Bachelors degree in Creative Arts, Communication, Advertising, Design, or a related field.
    • Masters degree or postgraduate diploma is a strong advantage.
    • Additional qualifications in Creative or Digital Design are a plus.
    • Membership in a recognized professional body is preferred.

    Experience

    • Minimum 10 years in progressive creative leadership roles, including at least 4 years in a senior, multi-market role.
    • Experience in sectors such as gaming, technology, telecommunications, financial services, or leading creative agencies.
    • Proven success in executing multi-channel marketing strategies for large or global brands
