    Financial Controller

    Job Details

    Cost Tracking & Analysis:

    • Monitor and analyse direct and indirect costs across sourcing, production, logistics and projects, maintain accurate cost records for raw materials, labour, transport and overheads, and develop cost allocation models for multi-country operations.

    Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, analyse cost trends to inform pricing and strategic decisions, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

    Reporting & Compliance:

    • Prepare monthly cost reports and variance analyses for management review, ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards, and reconcile cost data with procurement, operations and finance teams.

    Systems & Process Improvement:

    • Maintain and update cost-related data in the ERP system, generate regular cost and margin reports, and recommend and implement cost control measures and process improvements.

    Stakeholder Coordination:

    • Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics and project teams to gather and verify cost information, communicate key insights to management, and support cross-country coordination on costing standards and best practices.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
    • CPA or ACCA certification preferred
    • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in cost accounting, preferably in FMCG, Agriculture or Manufacturing.
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems and cost analysis.
    • Experience with cross-border logistics in East Africa is an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with export documentation and  procedures is an added advantage.

    Avocado Oil Production Specialist

    Job Details

    • Oil Extraction Operations
    • Operate and monitor oil processing systems, optimize processing parameters and conduct routine maintenance, calibration and ensure preventive maintenance is conducted.
    • Quality Control & Compliance
    • Implement HACCP, ISO and organic certification protocols, conduct process quality checks, and keep accurate production logs.
    • Raw Material Handling
    • Manage stocks, monitor fruit quality, supervise handling and coordinate with suppliers to ensure optimal fruit quality.
    • Data Management & Reporting
    • Record daily metrics, notice and report trends to improve efficiency and prepare timely reports as required.
    • Team Leadership & Training

    Requirements

    • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Processing or a related field;
    • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in edible oil extraction preferably avocado or similar cold-pressed oils;
    • Strong understanding of food safety standards, organic certification and oil quality parameters; and
    • Experience with automated processing systems and production line management.

    Production Coordinator

    Job Details

    Production Planning and Scheduling:

    • Coordinate various production schedules, liaise with other departments and monitor production for the company.

    Raw Material & Inventory Coordination:

    • Track raw material inventory and intake, ensuring proper storage and compliance.

    Team & Workflow Coordination:

    Job Details

    Transport Coordination & Fleet Management:

    • Coordinate the transportation of raw materials, liaise with third parties, monitor vehicle utilisation and trach transport-related incidents.

    Inventory & Warehouse Logistics:

    • Coordinate warehouse logistics (inbound and outbound, ensure accurate documentation and monitor stock levels.

    Export & Compliance Documentation:

    Job Details

    Data Strategy & Systems:

    • Oversee design and maintenance of BI dashboards for company data, support integration of the ERP into unified reporting tools, and take responsibility for data accuracy and consistency.

    Analytics & Insights:

    • Conduct analysis, review data trends, forecasts and cost structures, develop systems for optimization and support donor reporting with impact metrics.

    Stakeholder Support:

    • Manage agricultural production data, collaborate with various internal teams, and provide training on tools and interpretation for field and management use.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Agribusiness Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in business intelligence, analysis or data related field preferably in agriculture or FMCGs.
    • Demonstrable proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tabeau or similar visualization tools; and
    • Demonstrable proficiency with large complex datasets and tangible experience with data management and data analysis tools.
