    Operator Technical

    Key Purpose Statement

    The Technical Operator is responsible for operation of the process area according to work instructions, the execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out of autonomous maintenance. The technical operator has a primary focus on the quality control activities of the team. This role reports to Shift Team Leader.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Operation of the process area according to work instructions,
    • Execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out of autonomous maintenance.
    • Focus on the quality control activities of the team
    • Preparation for the next shift
    • Change overs done as per requirements
    • CIPs done as per SOPs
    • GMP maintained
    • Ensure integrity of process and quality
    • Ensure personal and machine safety

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years experience in equipment maintenance in a food processing company
    • Computer and technical skills.

    Education

    • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

    Forklift Operator

    Key Purpose Statement

    The role of the Driver Forklift is to efficiently operate a forklift, carry out autonomous maintenance tasks, maintain high GMP and OSH standards while sharing knowledge of health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with processes and procedures at all times.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Use and operate forklift safely and correctly as per specific operating instructions and applicable to the specific machine
    • Carry out autonomous maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
    • Daily inspection,detection and prompt escalation of any breakdowns
    • Loading and offloading of trucks,CFBs and full goods from and to production
    • Maintain GMP within the warehouse
    • Assist in stock rotation,creating of bins and sorting of CFBs

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Forklift Driver in an FMCG environment

    Education

    • Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
    • Certified Forklift Drivers’ License, Category G
