About the Role

• Twyford International Kenya Ltd is looking for a proactive, results-driven Advertising Officer to strengthen our brand visibility and market presence across Kenya.
• The successful candidate will identify strategic advertising opportunities, secure high-impact advertising spaces, negotiate competitive rates, coordinate outdoor branding and painting projects, and ensure consistent brand visibility across key markets and customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate strategic locations for billboards, wall branding, building branding, shopfront advertisements, and other outdoor advertising opportunities.
• Scout high-traffic areas, major roads, commercial centres, hardware clusters, tile showrooms, and construction zones for potential advertising placements.
• Negotiate competitive rates, rental agreements, payment terms, and contract periods with advertising space owners and suppliers.
• Coordinate branding, painting, signage installation, fabrication, and other outdoor advertising projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with media owners, property owners, contractors, branding agencies, and other relevant suppliers.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitor advertising activities to identify new opportunities.
• Ensure advertising placements comply with relevant permissions, local regulations, and company brand standards.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness, maintain records of advertising locations and costs, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Support the implementation of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and market penetration.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in advertising, outdoor media, brand activation, trade marketing, or a related commercial role.
• Proven experience in field-based marketing, advertising space acquisition, supplier coordination, or commercial negotiations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify strategic advertising locations and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within assigned markets will be an added advantage.

We are seeking a confident sales professional who can deliver an exceptional showroom experience, understand customer and project requirements, and provide expert advice on tiles, sanitaryware, and complete interior solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Deliver a premium showroom customer experience.
• Consult with customers and recommend suitable products and design solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations and calculate project quantities.
• Read and interpret basic building plans and layouts.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, and customer enquiries.
• Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
• Generate new business, repeat business, and referrals.
• Maintain excellent showroom presentation and Micasso brand standards.
• Maintain strong product and industry knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years' proven retail/showroom sales experience.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Computer literate and comfortable using POS, ERP, or CRM systems.
• Ability to prepare quotations and calculate quantities accurately.
• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Passion for interior design, architecture, and premium home finishes.

ADVANTAGEOUS

Experience in any of the following will be an added advantage:

• Sales Representative / External Sales.
• Tiles, sanitaryware, bathrooms, building materials, or interior finishes.
• Existing relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, or developers.
• Project-based sales and interpretation of building plans.
• Premium or luxury showroom environments.
• ERP/CRM systems.
