Credit Clerk

- Salary Range KSh 30,000 - KSh 50,000/month
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Serve and assist Sacco members and loan customers efficiently and professionally.
- Appraise and process loan applications, ensuring all required supporting documents, authorizations and signatures are complete.
- Advise members on loan eligibility and applicable loan amounts, and assist them with completing and submitting loan applications.
- Register and maintain accurate loan records in the Sacco software system while ensuring confidentiality and proper filing.
- Recommend properly appraised loans for approval and attend to members' queries.
- Market and cross sell Sacco products and services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum C+ (Plus) in KCSE.
- At least two (2) years' relevant experience in credits, Sacco operations, banking, microfinance, or a related financial-services environment.
- Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cooperative Management, Business Administration, any other related business field.
- Excellent communication, numerical, analytical, computer, and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of Sacco software/loan management systems is an added advantage.
