    Relationship Manager (RM)

    The Relationship Manager (RM) plays a critical role in driving sales, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the operational efficiency of the MDC. The RM is responsible for B2B acquisition and retention, achieving sales and collection targets, and ensuring top-tier service delivery. This role also includes assisting with stock management and operational tasks to maintain high product quality and ensure seamless order fulfilment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales and Client Management
    • Proactively identify, engage, and onboard new B2B clients for fish, Ice flakes and chicken products.
    • Manage and grow relationships with walk-in and corporate clients to maximise repeat business and customer lifetime value.
    • Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and customer feedback to convert prospects and improve service.
    • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
    • Ensure 100% payment collection on all product sales, with ZERO outstanding debt.
    • Support and process orders for walk-in customers at the MDC while ensuring a professional customer experience.
    • Customer Service
    • Serve as the key contact person for assigned accounts, ensuring fast and effective resolution of client issues.
    • Educate clients on product options, pricing, and availability to drive informed purchases.
    • Maintain updated and accurate customer records and sales logs in CRM or other assigned systems.
    • Stock and Operational Support
    • Receive, verify, sort, and store incoming stock to maintain inventory integrity.
    • Conduct periodic stock counts, quality checks, and participate in packaging and labelling to uphold quality standards.
    • Support the timely and accurate dispatch of orders to both walk-in and corporate clients.
    • Compliance and Reporting
    • Comply with company policies, operational procedures, and cold chain product handling standards.

    Sales and Distribution Lead Associate – MDC

    • The Sales and Distribution Lead Associate is a commercially critical role charged with delivering topline growth, market share expansion, and operational efficiency at the MDC hub. This position holds full commercial accountability for all B2B and B2C revenue streams, team performance, customer satisfaction, and stock utilisation within the hub. Acting as a strategic business unit head, the role demands sharp business acumen to drive product velocity, convert leads into long-term accounts, and orchestrate seamless supply chain execution. The ideal candidate will lead high-performing teams, leverage data-driven insights to unlock growth opportunities, and champion an exceptional end-to-end customer experience to maximise customer lifetime value.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Revenue Growth and Market Development
    • Own and deliver monthly and quarterly revenue targets across B2B and B2C verticals.
    • Execute targeted go-to-market strategies to penetrate new customer segments and geographies.
    • Identify, negotiate, and close high-value partnerships with institutional buyers, wholesalers, and key retailers.
    • Manage and grow strategic accounts to ensure retention, upselling, and recurring revenue.

    • Oversee the implementation of SOPs across logistics, handling, and delivery to maintain quality and fulfillment accuracy.
    • Resolve operational bottlenecks in real time to protect customer commitments.
    • Strategic Partnerships and Market Influence
    • Scout, onboard, and scale relationships with high-volume institutional clients—such as schools, hospitals, and processors.
    • Represent the brand in key stakeholder engagements and trade forums to amplify brand equity and community impact.
    • Track and analyze competitor positioning, customer trends, and pricing dynamics to shape winning commercial strategies.
    • Stock and Demand Planning
    • Align closely with Operations and Sourcing teams to ensure right-stock-right-time availability.

    • Customer Experience and Retention
    • Serve as the escalation point for key customer concerns, ensuring resolution speed and service recovery excellence.
    • Oversee proactive customer engagement across all touchpoints to foster loyalty and repeat business.
    • Use feedback loops and client data to refine service models and personalize account support strategies.
    • Reporting, Analytics, and Compliance
    • Generate and interpret commercial reports covering revenue performance, team KPIs, stock turnover, and delivery metrics.
    • Ensure real-time reporting accuracy across CRM and inventory management systems.
    • Enforce compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and quality assurance protocols.

    Mobile Veterinarian– Poultry Project

    • We seek a skilled and dedicated Mobile Veterinarian to support poultry farmers.The role involves visiting 12 farmers daily for 5 days to 10 days each month to improve poultry health, productivity, and farmer livelihoods through vaccinations, treatments, and extension services. This position is critical to reducing disease-related losses and building resilience in a challenging arid region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Field Visits:  
    • Conduct 60-120 farmer visits monthly (12 per day, 5-10 days/month depending on location) to assess and treat poultry flocks.  
    • Veterinary Services:  
    • Administer vaccinations (e.g., Newcastle Disease) and basic treatments for common poultry ailments.  
    • Perform health checks and recommend management improvements.
    • Farmer Training:  
    • Educate farmers on biosecurity, disease prevention, and basic poultry care during visits.
    • Reporting:  
    • Document each visit (e.g., number of birds treated, issues observed, Mortalities) and submit a monthly report by the 15th of the following month.
    • Coordination:  
    • Work with the project team to schedule visits and ensure supply of vaccines and materials.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Certificate or diploma in Animal Health and production from a recognized institution.  
    • Experience: Minimum 1 years of practical experience with poultry, ideally in rural or arid settings.  
    • Licensing: Valid veterinary practice license from the Kenya Veterinary Board.
