    Senior Security Officer

    Job Purpose:

    • To lead the hospital's security team, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and hospital assets. Leverage military or police expertise to implement strategic securi- ty measures, foster discipline within the security team, optimize resources, and contribute to cost reduction ini- tiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership and Team Management:
    • misuse of resources.
    • Enforce adherence to policies to minimize risks.
    • Incident Management and Reporting:
    • Investigate and document security breaches and incidents.
    • Liaise with law enforcement when needed.
    • Maintain logs of patrols, incidents, and resolutions.
    • Strategic Planning and Contribution: Advise leadership on security best practices. Develop and review contingency plans for emergencies. Ensure a secure and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

    • Minimum of a diploma in security studies; additional certifications in security management or safety are preferred.
    • Retired or honorably resigned police officer or Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer with at least 5 years of leadership experience in security or defense operations.

    Personal Assistant/Secretary to the Executive Director

    Job Purpose:

    • The Personal Assistant/Secretary provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director (ED) by managing schedules, coordinating communications, and handling confidential matters. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administrative Support:
    • Manage the ED's calendar, schedule meetings, and ensure timely reminders for appointments.
    • Draft, review, and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the ED.
    • Organize and maintain the ED's files, ensuring easy re- trieval and confidentiality.
    • Communication Coordination:
    • Screen and prioritize emails, calls, and other forms of communication.
    • Act as a liaison between the ED and internal/external
    • Event and Meeting Management:
    • Organize and coordinate internal and
    • external meetings, ensuring logistical arrangements are in place.

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field
    • At least 3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or Secretary, preferably in a healthcare or corporate setting stakeholders, including hospital departments, partners, comand patients.
    • Prepare meeting agendas and follow up on action items.

    Critical Care Nurse

    ​​​​​Job Purpose:

    • To provide high-quality patient care in the ICU by managing critically ill patients, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and contributing to the financial sustainability of the hospital through effective resource. management, revenue generation, and cost-saving initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Clinical Care
    • Monitor and manage critically ill patients, providing timely and accurate interventions.
    • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
    • Promote specialized ICU services to referring doctors and external facilities to attract more patients.
    • Cost Management

    • Patient & Family Engagement

    • Training & Development
    • Stay updated on ICU best practices and protocols through continuous professional development.
    • Mentor junior staff and students to build a skilled ICU team.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop Qualifications: and implement patient care plans.
    • Ensure proper documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the hospital system.
    • Maintain a sterile and safe ICU environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
    • Revenue Generation
    • Identify opportunities to increase service uptake by educating patients and families on ICU care options and additional hospital services.
    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Critical Care
    • Valid nursing license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
    • Minimum of 2 or more years of as Critical Care Nurse in a busy hospital.
    • Ensure accurate billing by documenting all consumables, medications, and procedures in real time.
