    Lead QA/QC (Animal Feeds & Veterinary Sector)

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Management, or related field.
    • Certifications in ISO, HACCP, GMP, or Quality Management Systems are an added advantage.
    • 5-8 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, food, animal feed, veterinary, or FMCG industries.
    • Experience handling KEBS compliance, product certification, inspections, and audits.
    • Strong knowledge of Kenyan regulatory standards and quality systems.
    • Leadership experience managing QA/QC teams.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Quality Systems & Compliance: Develop and manage QA/QC systems, SOPs, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with KEBS and other Kenyan regulatory requirements. Oversee product testing, certification processes, and quality control of raw materials, production, and finished products.
    • Audits & Quality Improvement: Lead internal and external audits, manage corrective actions, investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, and implement improvements to maintain product quality and operational efficiency.
    • Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise the QA/QC team and work closely with production and procurement teams to maintain consistent quality standards and regulatory compliance.

    Research and Development Officer

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in research, monitoring & evaluation, data analytics, or project management
    • At least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
    • Strong analytical, statistical, and research methodology skills
    • Experience analyzing industry and market data to support strategic decisions
    • Good understanding of mining sector operations is highly desirable
    • Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, or other Data analytics / Business Intelligence tools are an added advantage.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research & Market Analysis: Conduct research on mining and construction markets, analyze industry trends and competitive dynamics, and generate insights to support product development and business strategy.
    • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse complex datasets, translate findings into actionable insights, and prepare reports and presentations for management decision-making.
    • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Support strategic reviews, operational research, and innovation initiatives while contributing to pricing analysis, sales forecasting, and business planning.
    • Collaboration & Project Management: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Quality teams to support research initiatives, project implementation, and departmental planning.
