    Procurement Specialist(Education)- Nakuru

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Source, evaluate, and maintain a prequalified vendor list for major procurement categories
    • Conduct competitive sourcing (RFQs/RFPs), negotiate pricing, and ensure value-for-money
    • Perform vendor due diligence (TCC, KRA PIN, compliance checks, references) and monitor performance
    • Convert approved requisitions into POs and ensure correct specifications and delivery timelines
    • Enforce three-way matching (PO, delivery note, invoice) prior to payment processing
    • Collect valid eTIMS tax invoices and ensure proper application of withholding tax (WHT)
    • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records within workflow systems
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, donor requirements, and anti-corruption standards
    • Support audits with complete procurement files and compliance evidence
    • Track budgets, monitor price trends, and prepare monthly procurement reports
    • Coordinate deliveries with departments and ensure timely GRN completion
    • Manage warranty issues, returns, and after-sales follow-ups with suppliers
    • Provide guidance to staff on specifications, timelines, and procurement procedures
    • Maintain effective communication with requestors on order status and delivery progress

    Key Requirements.

    • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
    • CIPS or KISM certification (full or partial) is an added advantage
    • Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience in Kenya (NGO, education, ministry, or SME preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of sourcing, POs, GRNs, tax documentation (TCC/eTIMS), and WHT requirements
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with Monday.com is a plus
    • Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
    • Integrity, strong ethical judgment, and ability to enforce controls

    Safeguarding & Welfare Officer -Nakuru, Nairobi

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Monitor and assess the well-being of children, identifying risks such as abuse, neglect, trauma, or malnutrition, and coordinate timely interventions.
    • Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns and maintain accurate, confidential records in line with child protection policies.
    • Provide basic counselling, psychosocial support, and trauma-informed care, referring complex cases to professional services as needed.
    • Conduct home visits to assess family environments, engage caregivers, and provide practical support or referrals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, guardians, and community members to strengthen family engagement and promote child protection awareness.
    • Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and pastoral care teams to address children’s behavioural, emotional, or social challenges.
    • Coordinate welfare programs, including feeding initiatives, school supplies, health screenings, and hygiene campaigns.
    • Support employee welfare by providing guidance, referrals, and assistance on personal or work-related well-being issues.

    Key Qualifications.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Child Protection, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience in social work, child welfare, case management, or community outreach.
    • Strong understanding of child protection laws, welfare procedures, and local support services.
    • Experience providing counselling, crisis response, and psychosocial support to vulnerable individuals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to relate effectively to children, families, and teams.
    • High integrity, confidentiality, and emotional resilience in professional practice.
    • Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally/spiritually sensitive, upholding Christian values in service.
    • Willingness to travel for field visits, community outreach, and home assessments.

    Private Montessori-Trained Teacher (Early Years) -Chyulu Hills

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Plan and deliver daily learning activities aligned with Montessori and EYFS principles, integrating individualized lesson plans tailored to each child’s developmental needs, interests, and abilities.
    • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, confidence, positive behaviour, and social-emotional development.
    • Incorporate outdoor, nature-based, and hands-on learning experiences to encourage exploration, literacy, numeracy, arts, music, storytelling, and creative expression.
    • Monitor, assess, and track each child’s progress, providing regular updates and feedback to parents.
    • Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing learning space, including managing resources and materials effectively.

    Key Qualifications.

    • Great communication skills, particularly when engaging with parents.

    Accountant (Education)- Nakuru

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
    • Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and provide financial insights to management.
    • Maintain accurate financial records, supporting documents, and a strong internal control environment.
    • Support annual budgeting, monitor program and project expenditures, and prepare financial reports.
    • Ensure compliance with donor requirements, fund restrictions, and accurate logging and allocation of donations.
    • Process payroll, verify accuracy, and ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF).
    • Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reconciliation schedules.
    • Maintain an updated fixed asset register and oversee consistent bank and cashbook reconciliations.

    Key Qualifications.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • CPA (K) qualification or equivalent.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an NGO, education, or faith-based setting.
    • Experience in fund accounting, donor reporting, and statutory compliance.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
    • High ethical standards, confidentiality, and alignment with Christian values.
