We are seeking to employ a Senior Oracle Developer at our organization based in Kisumu.

• Extensive Experience of Core Dba Activites
• Having experience and deep knowledge to work on Oracle Ebs 11i and R12 with Sun Solaris Operating System Red Hat linux Experience as an Apps Dba
• Clonning, Patching, Check health of Ebs database as well as simple oracle Database
• Installation, Upgradation from Oracle Ebs 11i to R12 on Solaris O.S 10 and Rhel4,5
• Having more than five years’ experience and 3 years at least pure in Oracle Ebs environment with Solaris O.S.
• OCM in Dba tracle is a plus point

• We are seeking to employ a Senior Oracle Developer at our organization based in Kisumu. This is a very exciting and challenging position which calls for an IT graduate with at least 4 years experience in developing and implementing Oracle-based systems within an FMCG environment.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Candidates should have at least 4 years experience in development of business systems using Oracle
• Oracle Database design experience
• Experienced in Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain Modules
• Experience with Implementing, Developing and Database Administration
• An appropriate degree or diploma in Information Technology would be a re-requisite
• Financial experience advantageous
• Ability to multi-task

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding of system functionality at the application level
• Ability to understand and interpret technical system specifications
• Ability to develop and implement Programs using Oracle
• Ability to do conceptual system design and compile suitable design documents
• Ability to do Database design

• Problem solving skills
• Is a self starter who requires minimal supervision, and takes high ownership of work assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Automobile Engineer ( degree or a credible diploma) with about 15-25 years experience

DUTIES

Hands on experience in:

• Spares parts inventory management in an Computerized environment, preferably in an ERP
• Automobile repairs
• Commercial negotiations with vendors and service providers
• Insurance claims
• Fleet management
• Route planning
• Maintenance scheduling
• Workshop management for a large fleet of vehicles (Nearly 200)
• Managing a diverse fleet of vehicle from Saloon Cars to Actros, Scania, Mitsubishi horses, Trains, Trailers
• Handling a multi racial & diverse range of people
• Conversant with an ERP environment and fully computer literate
