Oracle Application Developer at United Millers Limited

• We are seeking to employ a Senior Oracle Developer at our organization based in Kisumu. This is a very exciting and challenging position which calls for an IT graduate with at least 4 years experience in developing and implementing Oracle-based systems within an FMCG environment.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Candidates should have at least 4 years experience in development of business systems using Oracle
• Oracle Database design experience
• Experienced in Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain Modules
• Experience with Implementing, Developing and Database Administration
• An appropriate degree or diploma in Information Technology would be a re-requisite
• Financial experience advantageous
• Ability to multi-task

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding of system functionality at the application level
• Ability to understand and interpret technical system specifications
• Ability to develop and implement Programs using Oracle
• Ability to do conceptual system design and compile suitable design documents
• Ability to do Database design
• Identifies various options for potential technical solutions and assesses them for technical business sustainability
• Creates logical and innovative solutions to complex requirements
• Problem solving skills
• Is a self starter who requires minimal supervision, and takes high ownership of work assigned
