Organizational Relationship:
Reports to the Head of Department, Transport and Maintenance.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Undertake all electrical related issues;
- Testing and inspection of electrical appliances;
- Electrical faulty diagnosis and repair;
- Coordination of public address system during events;
- Maintain the equipments in electrical department;
- Maintain a schedule of routine faulty finding mission;
- Have a regular schedule for general electrical repair;
- Set up and maintain working procedures;
- Report any defect within the area of work to the supervisor;
- Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information;
- Prepare for E-learning classes and setting of Micro teaching lab;
- Assist in video shooting and video editing;
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competences:
- KCSE mean grade D+ or its equivalent;
- Government Trade Test III;
- At least two years working experience;
- Must be a mature person;

Organizational Relationship:

- To work with HODs to identify and select courses which he or she is qualied and competent to teach during a semester/trimester;
- To teach a minimum of 10 units (two semesters) per academic year and to undertake extra teaching responsibilities as may be necessary;
- To submit to the HOD new/revised course outlines for units allocated at least two weeks prior to commencement of a semester;
- To ensure timeliness for appropriate reporting, entry and submission of evaluation and marks on time as per schedule;
- To ensure regular and punctual attendance of classes using biometric readers to aid in time management and ensure the same with students;
- Participate in curriculum development and review;
- To ensure regular review of his/her courses in conformity with quality assurance reports and emerging international best practice;
- To attend and eectively participate in Departmental, Faculty and University meetings and functions;
- To actively participate in Department/Faculty/University community service activities
- To uphold the good image of the Faculty and the University in the manner in which he or she carries out his or her duties;
- To be committed to continuous improvement of the Department and Faculty.

Organizational Relationship:

Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive design briefs and plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials;
- Illustrate concepts by designing sample artwork arrangement, size, type size and style as per the brand manual guidelines and technical specifications and submit them for approval;
- Communicate with clients about layout and design;
- Design a wide range of graphics, illustrations and layouts for logos, publications, banners, e-shots, mast-heads, brochures, posters, reports, magazines, newsletters forprint, website and social media;
- Prepare artworks for branded materials as the guidelines in the brand manual;
- Undertake quality photo & videography work, edit and share on various media;
- Prepare and update graphics for website and social media;
- Liaise with various providers for technical specifications of various printable materials to inform the design artworks;
- Review final layouts and liaise with printers for prints to ensure quality work is done and delivered on time;
- Backup artworks, photos, videos for effective archiving and retrieval purposes;
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed and suggesting improvements when necessary;
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competences:
- Diploma in Graphic Design;
- Proficiency in Adobe suite for graphic design work;
- Proficiency in Design Programmes;
- General computer proficiency;
- Have at least two to three years working experience in a similar position;
- Must be innovative, creative with personal drive and collaboration skills;
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Must be a person of integrity; morally upright and mature;
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision;
