Requirements for Appointment
- A Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.BCH.B) degree in Medicine from a University recognized in Kenya;
- A Master’s Degree in the relevant specialization;
- Must have served as a medical Officer for at least ten (10) years commutatively and at least three (3) years in a senior position either Public or Private institution
- Be registered and in good standing with the Kenya Medical Practitioner and Dentist Board;
- Valid practicing Licence from Medical Practitioner and Dentist Board;
- Certificate in Senior Management Course not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.

- Member of the Audit Committee shall be appointed for a term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further one term only.
- Remuneration: This is not a salaried position; Allowances applicable shall be determined by the salaries and remuneration commission.
