    Enterprise Operations L2 Support Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Provide L2 support for SIP trunk services, other system-related problems and ensure SIP Trunk systems adhere to industry security standards and company policies
    •  Work with external PBX service providers to resolve connectivity or service issues as needed. 
      Validate IP/VLAN plans for new Enterprise customer connections as received from IP planning teams 
    • Maintain relevant live Enterprise service trackers and data to monitor all critical Service Level Agreements 
      Troubleshoot on L2/L3 IP connection for Enterprise customers via microwave or IPRAN 
    • Work with field operations teams to clear alarms on last mile connections for live services 
    • Troubleshooting last mile/customer premises equipment (CPE) connectivity with partners/Tx engineers 
    •  Perform capacity upgrade/downgrade configurations for Enterprise links 
    •  Prepare and present change requests in CMB for configuration change approvals and ensure E2E change management life cycle process
    • Ensure proper security hardening of IP connections to minimize network vulnerability exposure
    • Configure port limiting on last mile connections 
    • Support presales solution architect in capacity planning and forecasting 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics engineering or its equivalent with at least 3 years working experience within the telecommunications industry with a strong bias in ISP/fully Integrated operator environment
    • Advanced level understanding of wireless telecommunications and IP protocols with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a highly interactive environment.
    • Experience with SIP software and hardware such as PBX systems (Cisco, Avaya, Asterisk, etc.), softphones, and handsets
    • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs) and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, etc.).
    • Working knowledge in operation and configuration of multi-vendor IP equipment (microwave, routers & switches)

    Retail Area Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve sales target for all defined Airtel products & services at all assigned shops
    • Implement findings of audits and customer satisfaction surveys
    • Ensure customer retention through satisfactory issue resolution of customer walk ins
    • Facilitate roll-out of new shops outlets and ensure proper inventory management in all assigned shops 
    • Cascade any changes in target setting, process or new product launch
    • Work with the Marketing team to recommend branding and promotion activities within the shops space 
    • Manage and monitor traction on all shop initiatives to increase footfall with an aim to supersede revenue targets and gain quality acquisitions through conversion of walk-in customers
    • Drive operational process standardization, proactively review and propose changes to the existing Airtel processes to improve the overall customer experience.
    • Participates in the recruitment and selection of shop staff; oversee Shop managers and respective teams on overall target achievement and ensure all shops staff are fully engaged and effective 
    • Ensure monthly partner governance meetings and that the staff at Airtel franchise managed shops are fully trained as per given guidelines.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field
    • 4-8 years’ requisite work experience in telecommunication, financial or Consumer service industry
    • Good data analysis skills on advanced Excel will be an added advantage

    Solution Architect & Project Management Support

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Sales Managers and Account Managers teams to provide technical and business expertise, inner workings of the consulting business and delivery of solutions, such that company service offerings and technical capabilities are maximized on each customer engagement
    • Test new technologies, onboard new suppliers to drive innovations that meet emerging business requirements.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to conduct pre-installation surveys, feasibility studies for solutions and technical designs
    • Provide in depth knowledge of new advances in networking and security technologies to drive the business and achieve client satisfaction
    • Actively participate in implementations, migrations, integrations, UATs, commissioning and support on all turnkey projects to all levels of hosting, operations, service level delivery, and support. 
    • Provide comprehensive after-sales service to customers in conjunction with the Sales/Corporate team 
    • Maintain relevant project implementation and live services trackers and data to monitor all critical SLAs and provide opportunities for more responsive technical support.
    • Coordinates with other departments in order to obtain quality service and product delivery and effectively resolve corporate customer queries
    • Work with other technology teams to ensure that Fixed Solutions services are well planned, maintained and optimized
    • Maintains knowledge of and reports on new developments in the marketplace with regards to accounts and prospects

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science or Business Information Technology or in a relevant field with at least 3 years’ requisite work experience in telecommunications industry or Engineering Company/Integrator /ISP environment
    • GSM / UMTS, Prepaid / IN / Switching systems / DATA / SIP/ VAS / IP / Data / Security / Packet Switched/Circuit switched networks, Cloud, Fixed Wireless Networks, IOT, SDWAN etc.
    • Professional qualifications such as CCNA, CCIP with experience with designing and implementing networks using common routing protocols including IS-IS, BGP and OSPF as well as layer 2 & layer 3 VPNs
    • Working knowledge of 3G, 4G and 5G fixed wireless access networks with strong project management credentials
