    Warehouse Assistant, PSCMD Warehouse & Satellites (Temporary for 3 months)

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive goods delivered by suppliers as per the purchase orders sent from PSCMD.
    • Inspect goods received items for quantity, quality and price in line with the laid down policy.
    • Complete the required documentation when the items received are not as per those ordered.
    • Ensure that by close of day, inventory is accurately updated for all goods received during the day.
    • Submit all invoices to documentation team as per the stipulated timelines.
    • Follow up with both supplier and the purchasing officer obtaining credit notes for any delivery that has a discrepancy.
    • Submit close-of-day reports to the warehouse/operations coordinator.
    • Generate end-of-day reports on posted and unposted receipts.

     Qualifications, experience and skills requirements:

    • Business-related Diploma or Certification. 
    • Membership to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or Chartered Institute of Logistics (CILT) or Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) will be an added advantage.
    • At least one year of work experience in a related field/work environment
    • Proficiency in working with MS Office – MS Excel and MS word
    • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal/ communication skills
    • Very good Organizational Skills;
    • Ability to work in a team, has initiative and is proactive

    Electrical Technician, Engineering

    Responsibilities:

    Regular Duties/Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support for electrical systems and equipment throughout the hospital as assigned including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance;
    • Document all electrical activities and test results according to department policy;
    • Promptly respond to system/equipment Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) request from user Departments as per policy;
    • Timely complete Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for electrical system/equipment
    • Liaison with user Departments for maintenance activities and report to supervisor on issues arising.

    Periodic Duties/Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and/or participate in requests for special projects, such as new systems/equipment acquisition purchase planning, development of bid specifications, etc.
    • Develop with electrical supervisor Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines;
    •  Develop systems/equipment safety and device-specific in-service education to other technicians     and  equipment users as necessary
    • Perform incident investigation and system/equipment performance analysis as required.
    • Develop or review emergency and safety plans related to use and operation of electrical system/equipment.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma in Electrical engineering (power option) or  equivalent qualifications
    •  At least 2 years experience in a similar position. 
    • Computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
    •  Competent in technical operation and maintenance of HV/LV distribution, switchgear, aptitude in instrumentation and controls, Diesel generators, steam boilers, laundry, kitchen equipment
    •  Excellent communication with interpersonal skills, high integrity, reliable, very good analytical and organizational skills.
    •  Ability to overcome performance barriers.
    • Willingness to learn & teach
