    Agri Digital Tools Coordinator

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Conduct a stakeholder analysis and establish a network with high-profile agricultural organisations at national, international and community level (such as Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), NGOs, Farmer Associations & Cooperatives) that work with agro-advisory service providers, including agro-input dealers, and farmers in India.
    • Identify and prioritise organisations to collaborate with on the promotion of the CABI suite of digital advisory tools, especially the CABI Bio Protection Portal and the Crop Sprayer App.
    • In collaboration with these organisations, identify appropriate communication channels (e.g. social media, radio, WhatsApp groups, Telegram, village groups, etc.) that could be used to maximise reach to users of the CABI digital advisory tools and which languages should be used.
    • Develop a suite of communication materials and tools, for example online and face-to-face training, social media messaging, flyers, posters, video instructional clips, etc., that can be used to send messaging to FPOs and other farmer organisations that are engaged in farmer welfare and education.
    • Monitor usage of the CABI digital advisory tools to assess impact of communication events conducted and calculate the return on investment.
    • Attend leading national industry events and conferences to give thought-leader presentations promoting use of digital advisory tools that support utilisation of biopesticides and low-toxicity chemicals in a rational manner.
    • Recommend biocontrol manufacturers to the CABI Bio Protection Portal project manager for potential partnership, as well as recommendations for private sector sponsors and associates, in order to contribute to sustainability of the portal.
    • Use your social media network (LinkedIn and/or Twitter) to raise the profile of CABI’s work and drive engagement with the digital advisory tools.
    • Manage the budget and spend of your activities and regularly report performance against targets.
    • Own and develop processes for managing the progress of your activities and improve efficiency.
    • Communicate regularly with other staff working within the CABI PlantwisePlus programme to ensure awareness and alignment of activities within the broader programme.

    ABOUT YOU:

    • You will be a qualified agricultural specialist with over 5 years’ experience working with and communicating with agro-advisory service providers and farmers in Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, and Zambia.
    • You will understand the principles of marketing products to specialist sectors and be confident in communicating with both highly qualified industry leaders and smallholder farmers.
    • With contacts in the public sector, such as the Ministry of Agriculture and international organizations (e.g., ICRISAT, CIMMYT), who have direct links with FPOs, and a social media following, you will have an established network to begin promoting CABI’s work.
    • You will use your knowledge and experience of agricultural development, scientific research, and stakeholder engagement to drive the use of CABI’s digital tools.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Experience working and communicating with government agencies, Universities, agro-advisory service providers, farmers, and other stakeholders
    • Proven experience in marketing digital tools or products, with a strong understanding of marketing concepts and strategies
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and cultivate partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders.
    • Knowledge or experience in the agriculture or agribusiness sector is highly desirable

    • Ability to work on own initiative and meet targets within budget

    • Fluent spoken and written English. Knowledge of African languages would be advantageous.

    Project Manager

    PURPOSE

    • The Project Manager is central to the project’s success, ensuring its seamless execution through oversight of daily operations, effective coordination of activities, and proactive problem-solving. This role involves developing and managing work plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with the project team, stakeholders, and donors, ensuring all activities align with project objectives, timelines, and resource allocations. By fostering a collaborative, results-oriented team environment, the Project Manager provides leadership, mentorship, and performance support to the project team, ensuring all members are motivated and equipped to deliver.
    • The Project Manager closely monitors the project’s progress, tracks key performance indicators and milestones, prepares detailed reports for the project board and donors, and maintains open communication channels to address emerging issues promptly. Risk management is a critical component, with the Project Manager identifying potential obstacles, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring contingency plans are in place.
    • In addition, the Project Manager is tasked with ensuring compliance with national regulations, organisational policies, and donor requirements. In overseeing financial management, the Project Manager ensures that funds are used transparently and efficiently, producing accurate financial reports to sustain trust and facilitate ongoing support.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Oversee the day-to-day management of a suite of projects, ensuring effective coordination and execution of all approved activities.
    • Develop and manage project work plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
    • Lead and guide the project team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, and supporting team development and performance.
    • Monitor the project’s progress against its objectives, timelines, and budgets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the project board and donors.
    • Liaise with the Finance and Operations teams to ensure that grants and projects’ delivery align with forecasted expenditure

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Advanced degree in agriculture, crop protection, agricultural economics, or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in agriculture and development, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex multi-donor projects across multiple locations in developing countries.
    • Strong understanding of agriculture, crop protection, and smallholder farmers' challenges, particularly in sustainable practices and plant health systems.
    • Understanding of development of sustainable value chains, as well as sanitary and phytosanitary related issues and how to mitigate them to comply with market requirements would be an added value
    • Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate multidisciplinary and multinational teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
    • Demonstratable ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
    • Experience designing and implementing Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks, and other project management tools for tracking progress against objectives, and reporting to donors and stakeholders.
    • Solid experience managing project budgets, ensuring financial transparency, and preparing accurate financial reports.
    • Strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively with government institutions, local partners, donors, and other stakeholders.

    Finance Lead - Treasury & Order to Cash

    THE ROLE:

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and forward‑thinking Finance Lead – Treasury and Order to Cash (O2C) to oversee CABI’s end‑to‑end treasury operations and Order to Cash (O2C) cycle.
    • In this role, you will be responsible for treasury operations, ensuring optimal liquidity management, robust cash forecasting, and effective banking relationships that safeguard the organisation’s financial stability.
    • You will also lead the end‑to‑end Order to Cash (O2C) cycle—including billing, credit management, collections, and cash allocation—driving accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls across all processes.
    • As the leader of a globally dispersed team, you will provide strategic direction, coordinate delivery across regions, and foster a high-performance culture.
    • This role demands a collaborative leader who can balance tactical execution with long-term strategic development of the treasury and O2C functions WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Finance Lead – Treasury and Order to Cash will oversee the organisation’s global treasury and end‑to‑end Order to Cash (O2C) operations. You will ensure optimal liquidity management, accurate cash forecasting, strong banking relationships, and the effective deployment of treasury policies and controls across all regions.

    Key accountabilities

    • Treasury Management
    • Lead global treasury operations, ensuring effective liquidity management, short‑ and long‑term cashflow forecasting, and optimisation of working capital. Maintain and strengthen banking relationships, ensuring efficient and secure banking operations across all regions.
    • Oversee treasury policies, controls, and compliance, ensuring alignment with organisational and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor global cash positions, investment activity, currency exposures, and banking costs, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Work closely with the CFO and Finance Director to support the management of foreign exchange (FX) risk by providing timely and accurate cashflow forecasts across key currencies, alongside relevant money market insights to inform hedging and investment decisions
    • Drive process improvements in treasury operations, increasing standardisation and automation, accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
    • Optimise and rationalise the global portfolio of bank accounts to improve efficiency, controls, and cost‑effectiveness.
    • Oversee cashbook management for the Netherlands, Trinidad & Tobago, and Brazil, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of cash movements Order to Cash (O2C) Management
    • Lead the Publishing & Products O2C function including billing, invoicing, credit control, collections, debtor recovery, and cash allocation.
    • Ensure customer accounts are accurately maintained and underpinned by strong credit risk assessment and governance processes.
    • Develop and enforce O2C policies, SLAs, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance.
    • Work with sales operations and commercial leaders to resolve customer account issues, drive dispute resolution, and strengthen the customer‑to‑cash process.
    • Deliver accurate monthly reporting of debtors, O2C KPIs, ageing analysis, trends, and risk indicators.
    • Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners to manage donor‑funded receivables, ensuring timely collection, accurate allocation of funds, and effective resolution of aged or disputed balances to maintain strong debtor performance.
    • Oversee Bioscience invoicing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual and funding requirements.
    • Lead project and donor invoicing, coordinating with programme teams to ensure correct billing, timely submission, and effective follow‑up of receivables. Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and develop a global treasury team, providing direction, coaching, performance management, and fostering a high‑performance culture.
    • Partner with Finance, IT, and operational teams to improve treasury and O2C systems, data quality, and reporting tools.
    • Support change initiatives, including system upgrades, automation projects, and process standardisation across regions.
    • Act as a proactive finance partner to internal stakeholders, providing insight, solutions, and support for strategic and operational decision‑making.

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, and banking governance.
    • Demonstrable experience leading end‑to‑end Order to Cash processes within a global or multi‑regional organisation.
    • Proven track record of managing and developing geographically dispersed finance teams.
    • Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and working capital performance indicators.
    • Experience implementing or improving financial systems, treasury tools, or O2C process automation.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights
    • Fluent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
    • High proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems.

    Desirable

    • Experience in an international, not‑for‑profit, development, or donor‑funded context
    • Knowledge of multi‑currency operations, FX exposure management, and international banking structures.
    • Experience with customer relationship management platforms or workflow management tools related to O2C.
    • Understanding of digital tools, automation platforms, and data analytics in finance process optimisation.
