About the Role:
Reporting to the Group Head of Business Change & Transformation, the role holder will drive the quality assurance efforts within the team to ensure that all products and increments are thoroughly tested and meet high-quality standards before release. This includes strategizing, planning, and coordinating QA activities, defining testing standards, and implementing automation frameworks. The QA Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline testing processes and support the continuous delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish guidelines for product testing at various stages of development, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent product quality.
- Work with the Agile coach and product owner in the creation of a comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals, timelines, and feature requirements.
- Design, development, and execution of test scripts (manual and automated) based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Lead and mentor the testing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Facilitate communication between the testing team and other stakeholders to align on quality objectives and ensure smooth delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Agile coach, Development team and product analyst in outlining test quality metrics, test progress, and areas of improvement to stakeholders and management.
- Drive continuous improvement in the QA process by assessing risks, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process changes.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement security testing as part of the QA process where applicable.
Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or related field.
- Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), ISTQB Certified Tester, or equivalent are a plus.
- At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
Key Competencies:
- Strong experience with both manual and automated testing in software development environments.
- Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman, TestNG, Cypress).
- Experience with performance and load testing tools
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Expertise in collaborative and defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and testing SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Experience in testing mobile applications and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in change management, including the ability to manage resistance to change and effectively communicate changes to stakeholders.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, Sales & Distribution, the Communication & Storytelling Officer will design, produce, and disseminate compelling narratives that promote CIC Microinsurance’s mission, products, impact, and customer stories. The role blends content creation, brand positioning, and strategic storytelling to build trust with stakeholders, customers, partners, regulators, staff, and the public and to drive uptake of inclusive insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Storytelling & Content Creation
- Identify, document, and craft human-centered stories from clients, agents, partners, and field operations that highlight the impact of microinsurance.
- Produce multimedia content (articles, videos, infographics, social media posts) for diverse audiences.
- Translate technical insurance language into relatable, emotionally engaging narratives.
- Maintain a “story bank” for ongoing campaigns, reporting, and advocacy.
- Develop and design powerful presentations for training, awareness and different forums.
Corporate Communication
- Draft speeches, press releases, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces for senior management.
- Develop and manage internal communication channels to boost staff engagement and brand alignment.
- Prepare impact reports, annual reviews, and donor/partner updates.
Brand & Campaign Support
- Work with marketing teams to align storytelling with campaigns, product launches, and community outreach initiatives.
- Apply graphic design skills to develop basic marketing materials, visual assets, and layouts in line with brand guidelines
- Work closely with designers, videographers, and agencies on advanced creative execution
- Manage CIC Microinsurance’s social media presence, ensuring content is relevant, consistent, and brand-aligned.
- Support event communications (product launches, outreach programs, CSR activities).
Partnership & Advocacy Support
- Provide communication support for partnerships, including co-branded campaigns with cooperatives, NGOs, banks and microfinance institutions.
- Prepare case studies for funding proposals, partnership pitches, and conference presentations.
- Collaborate with policy and advocacy teams to influence inclusive insurance awareness.
Monitoring & Impact Measurement
- Track engagement metrics for content and campaigns, report results, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain media and stakeholder contact databases for outreach.
Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Graphic Design, Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in communication, storytelling, or public relations, preferably in financial services, insurance, or social impact organizations.
Key Competencies
- Demonstrated experience in multimedia content production (writing, photography, videography, basic design).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong storytelling and content development ability
- Understanding of digital platforms and content trends
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media analytics

About the Role
Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Fraud Prevention & Investigations, the Forensic Investigation Officer will conduct objective, fair, thorough, unbiased and timely investigations into allegations of fraud, waste or abuse committed against the company through collection, preservation, analysis, and presentation of evidence in support of various investigations and possible prosecution of fraud related malpractices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic investigations by retrieving, analyzing, and securing evidence from various sources
- Support in maintain the chain of custody and ensure the integrity of evidence
- Document all findings and prepare reports to be used both internally and during prosecutions.
- Conduct fraud risk assessment to give reasonable assurance on the integrity of company systems
- Prepare investigation findings report for internal use and support law enforcement agencies in prosecutions where necessary.
- Performs other preventive compliance activities as required, including trainings;
- Performs other duties to support the operational function of the Investigation Unit as assigned.
- Attend Court as a witness in support of such evidence.
Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree from a recognized University preferably in Forensics & investigations, Criminal justice, Law, Statistics, Finance/Economics Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field
- Certification in digital forensics (e.g., Certified Cyber Forensics Professional, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst)
- CFE / CISA / CISM or other relevant certification is an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in fraud / forensic investigations.
