    TVET Graduate Assistant - Perioperative Theatre Technology

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

    • Teach perioperative theatre technology courses using competency-based methodologies.
    • Train learners on theatre procedures, aseptic techniques, surgical instrumentation, and patient safety.
    • Prepare and administer assessments in theory and practical sessions, and administer Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).
    • Supervise skills labs, simulations, and clinical attachments.
    • Ensure adherence to occupational safety, infection control, and theatre ethics.
    • Maintain teaching and assessment records.
    • Support continuous improvement of training programmes.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A degree in Biomedical engineering, Higher National Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology, Degree in Nursing or any other related health discipline.
    • Valid professional registration.
    • Relevant teaching and industry experience.

    TVET Graduate Assistant - Caregiving and Health Support Systems

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

    • Deliver competency-based training in Caregiving and Health Support Systems.
    • Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching notes, and training materials.
    • Conduct learner assessments, CATs, practical evaluations, and maintain accurate academic records.
    • Supervise learners during practical sessions, simulations, and industrial attachment.
    • Mentor and guide learners on professional ethics, patient care, and workplace conduct.
    • Participate in curriculum implementation, review, and quality assurance activities.
    • Uphold safety, infection prevention, and professional standards in training environments.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A degree in Biomedical engineering, Higher National Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology, Degree in Nursing or any other related health discipline.

    TVET Graduate Assistant - Counselling Psychology

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

    • Deliver courses in counselling psychology using approved TVET curricula.
    • Teach core areas such as counselling skills, ethics, DSM-based assessment, trauma counselling, and mental health.
    • Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and learner assessments.
    • Supervise counseling practicums, role plays, and industrial attachments.
    • Provide academic mentorship and basic psychosocial support to learners.
    • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum review, and quality assurance processes.
    • Promote ethical practice and professionalism in counselling training.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A Degree in Counselling Psychology or related field.
    • Pedagogical training and counselling practice experience preferred.
    • Registration with a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
