    Forklift Operator – Nyeri

    Job Purpose

    • The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and store raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products. This role ensures accuracy in inventory movement, adherence to safety standards, and support for smooth warehouse and production operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Material Handling and Warehouse Operations

    • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials and products within the warehouse, production, and loading areas.
    • Load and unload raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products from trucks and containers.
    • Move products to designated storage locations while ensuring proper stacking and storage practices.
    • Supply production lines with required materials and remove finished products as directed.
    • Assist in organizing warehouse storage areas to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.

    Inventory Management

    • Verify product quantities and descriptions against dispatch, receiving, and inventory documents.
    • Support stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
    • Ensure accurate placement and retrieval of inventory items.
    • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or stock variances promptly.

    Equipment Inspection and Maintenance

    • Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections of forklifts and related equipment.
    • Check fuel, battery levels, hydraulic systems, brakes, tires, lights, and safety devices.
    • Report equipment defects, malfunctions, or maintenance needs immediately.
    • Maintain cleanliness of forklifts and ensure proper equipment care.

    Safety and Compliance

    • Adhere to all company health, safety, quality, and environmental policies.
    • Operate forklifts in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and workplace safety procedures.
    • Ensure loads are properly balanced, secured, and transported safely.
    • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
    • Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.

    General Duties

    • Assist in loading and offloading activities when required.
    • Support housekeeping and cleanliness within warehouse and operational areas.
    • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to achieve operational targets.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the role.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Education

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent qualification.
    • Certificate in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is an added advantage.

    Professional Qualifications

    • Valid Forklift Operator Certification/License from a recognized institution.
    • Training in Occupational Safety and Health will be an added advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, FMCG, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
    • Experience handling palletized goods and warehouse inventory operations.
    • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and inventory management practices.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Proficiency in operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good numerical and record-keeping skills.

    Truck Turnboy – Nyeri

    Job Purpose

    • Truck Turnboy is responsible for assisting the driver in the safe and timely delivery of products to customers and distributors. The role involves loading and offloading goods, verifying deliveries, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, ensuring proper product handling, and supporting efficient distribution operations while adhering to company safety and customer service standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Delivery and Distribution Support

    • Assist the driver in delivering products to customers, distributors, and designated locations.
    • Load and offload products safely and efficiently.
    • Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage, breakage, or loss during transportation.
    • Arrange products properly within the vehicle to maximize space utilization and ensure load stability.
    • Assist in route navigation and delivery scheduling as directed.

    Inventory and Documentation

    • Verify quantities loaded against delivery notes and dispatch documents.
    • Assist in confirming quantities delivered to customers.
    • Obtain customer acknowledgments and proof of delivery where required.
    • Report shortages, damages, discrepancies, or delivery issues immediately to the driver and supervisor.

    Vehicle Maintenance and Safety

    • Assist in conducting daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
    • Ensure the truck is kept clean and presentable at all times.
    • Report vehicle defects, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly.
    • Assist in securing cargo and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations.

    Health, Safety, and Compliance

    • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
    • Follow safe lifting and manual handling procedures.
    • Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.
    • Comply with company distribution, quality, and security requirements.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Education

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent qualification.
    • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

    Experience

    • Previous experience as a Turnboy, Delivery Assistant, Loader, or in logistics/distribution operations is an added advantage.
    • Experience in FMCG, beverage, manufacturing, or distribution environments is preferred.
    • Fresh candidates with the required competencies may be considered.

    QSSK – General Worker – Nyeri

    Job Purpose

    • The General Worker is responsible for supporting day-to-day production, warehouse, and operational activities. The role involves handling materials, maintaining cleanliness, supporting production processes, loading and offloading products, and ensuring compliance with company safety and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Production Support

    • Assist in the production, inspection, packaging and palletizing of beverages as directed by supervisors.
    • Sort, pack, label, and palletize finished products.

    • Support machine operators during production activities.
