Job Summary 

We are looking for a responsible Quality Health & Safety, Environment Assistant to facilitate compliance with (OSH) guidelines and all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Support the development of OSH policies and programs.  
• Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc. 
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. 
• Review existing policies and measures and update them according to legislation.
• Initiate and organize OSH training of employees and executives.
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).
• Conducts regular internal audits and closes on all non-conformities.
• Adheres to and updates departmental budgets regularly.
• Ensure documentation update of all operational practices and make necessary changes where necessary Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
• Liaising with relevant authorities to keep up to date and ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation.
• Coordinates and conducts health and safety meetings and training courses for all employees.
• Ensures the company’s compliance with all legal statutory requirements.
• Ensures accountability of all Fixed Assets in the company through audits to account for all equipment on a bi-weekly basis via physical spot-check audits.
• Advises the management on all risks prone to the organisation and mitigations measures 

 Minimum Requirements and Competencies 

• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health 
• A minimum of 3 years of proven practical experience field in OSH 
• Proven Computer skills 
• Should demonstrate knowledge and ability in conducting OSH Audits

Job Summary 

Securex Agencies (K) Limited is seeking to recruit a Controller for our Eldoret Branch. The Controller will be responsible for ensuring 24/7 focal points for all security coordination and communication as directed by the Security Specialist and Security Focal Points.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Acts as the 24/7 focal point for all security coordination and communications as directed by the Security Specialist or Security Focal Points.
• Operates as the 24/7 single point of contact (POC) for triaging all emergencies and networking to the appropriate resource while maintaining an electronic log of all incidents. 
• Serves as the command-and-control node for routine and emergency situations by maintaining communications with the security guard force personnel, the security site supervisor/manager and the Security Specialist/Security Focal Points.
• Operates all emergency communications equipment including UHF/VHF/HF radios, satellite phones, landlines, vehicle tracking systems and cell phones. 
• Frequent, proactive monitoring and tracking of all client and vendor vehicles on mission using the ‘Track 24’ platform in tandem with radio/cell phone checks with the drivers. 
• Monitors the CCTV system for the country Office and acts as an initiator for shelter-in-place and lock-down protocols. 
• Conduct daily checks to ensure that all client’s security monitoring, tracking and operating systems are functional and report any faults to the client’s Security Specialist.
• Maintains an updated list of point of contact numbers and residence locations for all international and national Client’s residential Staff/Consultants and VMs.
• Providing customers with the organization’s service and product information.
• Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them.
• Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to handle complaints and inquiries.
• Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
• Give feedback to the client on complaints.
• Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine tests to ensure that operations standards are met.
• Update all monthly reports and share them with the head of the department on a monthly basis as per the deadlines issued. 

Minimum Requirements and Competencies 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Security Management, or a Business-related field.
• Diploma/Certificate in any Customer Service course.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working in a busy Call Centre within a commercial business setting. 
• Tech-Savvy, well conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint and capable of quickly learning new software applications.
• Proficiency in the use of social media platforms, and multiple communication equipment such as HF, VHF, UHF Radios, satellite phones etc.
• Ability to multitask.
• Report writing experience.

Main Responsibilities 

• Develop content that derives human interest and promotes the company verticals across mapped geographical areas.
• Conduct weekly focused Email Marketing Campaigns for selected verticals to specific markets.
• Conduct weekly reviews with the sales team on the total leads received, leads quoted, leads dealt with and leads not dealt with from marketing campaigns.
• Design landing pages on prioritized products and publish relevant campaigns and keywords on Google Ads to generate traffic to the pages.
• Create compelling adverts on Google Ads with relevant keywords for the selected verticals and mapped geographical areas.
• Satisfying client requests for communication updates and maintaining an up-to-date subscriber database.
• Coordinating with advertising agencies, media outlets, and other organizations to produce promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and profiles.
• Monitor the progress of all marketing campaigns using various metrics and submit performance reports.
• Monitor market trends and consumer behaviours to identify sales opportunities.
• Work with internal teams to coordinate and execute internal and external events such as Sales Drives, Exhibitions, and sponsorships among others.
