    ICT Officer

    The ICT Officer will ensure the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of all TISA’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, systems, and hardware. This role serves as the technical lead for internal systems and the primary administrator for TISA’s website and digital outreach platforms, bridging the gap between technical stability and creative visibility. In addition, the ICT Officer will contribute to the organization’s digital projects by supporting website and app development, coding (front-end and back-end), and podcast production. Key responsibilities include maintaining network performance, updating software, managing ICT assets, assisting with data backups, and ensuring data is handled securely in line with TISA policies and the Data Protection Act.

    CIIM Campaigns Assistant

    • The assistant will contribute to amplifying citizen voices, simplifying complex policy issues, producing podcasts and multimedia/written content, and enhancing public engagement with TISA's work.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Communication Support
    • Assist in developing the planning and execution of grassroots, national and international advocacy campaigns aligned with TISA's objectives.
    • Develop targeted communication plans, message briefs and campaign toolkits for specific campaigns.
    • Track and report on performance of various campaigns using various matrices.
    • Support the production and dissemination of simplified educational content (videos, posters, and infographics).
    • Edit and format TISA's communication materials including; newsletters, reports, success stories and press releases.
    • Contribute to planning and executing communication strategies for TISA's advocacy campaigns.
    • Assist in producing podcasts, including research, scripting, recording, editing, and publishing episodes.
    • Ensure all communication is factual, ethical and adheres to the brand identity and specification.
    • Assist in aligning communication to policy, diverse audience and donor and collation partners standards
    • Content creation
    • Design high-quality and engaging visuals for social media, reports, event promotion, and campaigns.
    • Film and edit short videos, reels for digital platforms, especially for interviews and explainers for reports and events.
    • Maintain a multimedia content library that supports TISA's storytelling and advocacy.
    • Social Media & Community Engagement
    • Draft, schedule and post content across all TISA social media handles and related TISA led campaign handles
    • Support content scheduling and publishing on platforms such as X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Monitor follower interactions, respond to comments/messages, and encourage online dialogue.
    • Collaborate with program teams to promote events, publications, initiatives, and podcast episodes.
    • Monitor media and social media chatter relevant to TISA's works and flag emerging opportunities and reputational risks.
    • Generate monthly communication, track performance reports, analysing reach, engagement and content effectiveness.
    • Stay up to date on emerging trends in digital communications, social media, and podcasting.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
    • At least 2 years' experience in campaigns, digital content creation or communication.
    • Experience in communications, digital content creation, social media management, and podcast production.
    • Strong writing skills with a flair for storytelling and simplifying complex issues.
    • Proficiency in video and audio editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Canva, or similar.
    • Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or Canva.
    • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Excel)
    • Understanding of public policy, governance, or development issues is an added advantage.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
