About the role

Ampersand seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Data and Monitoring Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data related to batteries, electric motorcycles (eMotos), and IoT platforms to provide actionable insights. This role involves monitoring technical parameters, generating reports, and supporting the Operations (OPS) team in customer interactions and battery recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis-Conduct in-depth analyses on batteries and eMotos, focusing on technical parameters and providing actionable recommendations based on analysis results.
• Reporting- Prepare clear and concise reports for the OPS team, highlighting actionable items and Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication of findings.
• Battery Monitoring and Advisory-Monitor battery-related metrics to aid in proactive maintenance while providing advisory support to stations and battery teams based on monitoring data.
• Recovery Information-Provide critical information for battery recovery efforts.
• Weekly Alerts Reports-Generate and distribute weekly reports containing alerts and key findings whilst ensuring reports are timely, accurate, and contribute to proactive decision-making.
• Support Data analysis requests: support with data analyses when requested
• Other tasks assigned by the manager

Minimum requirements

• A degree or a diploma in a relevant field such as Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science
• Strong analytical, presentation, communication & organizational skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in use of Excel, R or/and python language in data analysis
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing accurate and actionable reports.
• Knowledge or interest in electric vehicles and battery technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated creativity and ability to think outside the box.

Ampersand is looking for a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and repair of a wide range of electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment and devices to identify issues.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on electronic components and circuitry.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  Utilize various testing equipment and tools for accurate diagnostics.
• Collaborate with other team members to share insights and solutions.
• Keep detailed records of repairs, parts used, and testing results.
• Assist the battery technician when is needed

About the role

Ampersand E-Mobility is growing very fast and needs someone who will provide fast and useful technical assistance to the IT department. S/he will answer queries on technical issues and offer advice to solve them.

An excellent IT Officer must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide end user support in resolving technical equipment
• Provide support, configure, maintain network connectivity for end users to ensure the network is fully operational
• Perform basic system security functions including installing software, securing and monitoring access to end users to ensure they are properly identified, authenticated and authorized.
• Install and assist in performing minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications to ensure users are facilitated
• Set up new employees in a timely manner to ensure their equipment, account are functioning properly and also provide access to relevant systems
• Keep record of user support requests for reporting and performance analysis
• Submit timely reports on major hardware and software issues to ensure such are addressed in a timely manner
• Maintain the database of users and the equipment assigned to them to ensure that the asset register is kept updated
• Evaluate new hardware and software on purchase to ensure compliance with the company requirements
• Provide recommendations for the procurement of IT related equipment/software required by the company

• Remain current with the company's technological requirements and new developments in the industry.

Minimum requirements

• A degree in Information Technology or equivalent
