    Laboratory Technology

    Overall purpose of the job:

    • Reporting to the Laboratory in-Charge, the incumbent will be responsible for performing laboratorybased scientific medical investigations to provide laboratory diagnosis

    Key responsibilities:

    • Registration, collection and processing of client samples within the limits of specific tests
    • Communication of laboratory results to the internal and external customers
    • Maintain high standards of quality laboratory practice by the use of proper reagents, wellcalibrated machines, and a clean working environment
    • Observe efficient usage of reagents, glassware and equipment.
    • Preparation of laboratory reports
    • Participation in internal QC programmes and logging in the appropriate registers

    Position requirements and other competencies:

    • A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
    • Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board.
    • At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions.
    • ICT competency.
    • Excellent customer service
    • Self-motivated and a team player

    Pharmaceutical Technology

    Overall purpose of the job:

    Reporting to the Pharmacy In-Charge, this role focuses on prescription accuracy and safe medication delivery to ensure patients receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prescription validation,verification and dispensing
    • Management of pharmacy inventory
    • Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers
    • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession

    Position Requirements and other competencies:

    • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
    • At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations

    Business Development – Laboratory Services

    Overall Purpose of the Job:

    • Reporting to the Laboratory Services Manager, the role holder will lead the implementation of business development initiatives aimed at growing and strengthening the Laboratory Services portfolio

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide input/market intelligence in the development of the marketing strategy.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
    • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Initiate and pursue business leads to successful closure.
    • Participate in both corporate and industry events.
    • Prepare periodic business and market analysis reports.
    • Follow up on service queries for clients.

    Position Requirements:

    • Degree in Business and at least 3 years of experience in the laboratory services industry, focused on sales and marketing.
    • Solid business acumen and strong communication skills.
    • Exceptional analytical abilities with proficiency in verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Highly organised, detail-oriented individual capable of prioritising tasks; a proactive team
    • player working towards building a shared vision.
    • Experience in the ISO-accredited healthcare industry is an added advantage.

    Laboratory Technologist – Mobile

    Overall Purpose of the Job:

    • Reporting to the Laboratory Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the sample collection and testing from the comfort of clients/patients' locations per the standard operating procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collection and processing of client samples.
    • Communication of laboratory results.
    • Preparation of laboratory reports.
    • Grow the uptake of wellness checks, including growing Home/Office collections as per the targets.
    • Drive laboratory revenue.
    • Implementation of ISO 15189:2022 guidelines.
    • Delivery of pharmaceutical products to clients.

    Position Requirements:

    • A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
    • Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board
    • Demonstrated capability of riding motorcycles with a valid riding licence.
    • At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions.
    • Experience in the implementation of the ISO 15189 standard is an added advantage
    • ICT competency.
