    Accounts Assistant

    We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated visionary and results oriented candidate to fill in the below positions: Accounts Assistant

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Cashiering

    • Receipting all types of monies from clients i.e. in and outpatient walk-ins, and for any other services.
    • Banking the day’s collections with the treasury.
    • Billing all procedure done and items used
    • Finalizing invoices
    • Sending pre-authorizations to insurances for day case procedures
    • Explaining to patients their bill
    • Invoice booking for Doctors
    • Producing reports e.g. un-finalized report, finalized report, outpatient un-finalize, amount spent per patient

    Admissions

    • Filling in all the required documents i.e. admission papers, insurance
    • Preauthorization, claim forms and NHIF forms where necessary.
    • Notifying insurance companies on admission of their clients through calling, sending through email and fax preauthorization to insurance companies.
    • Following letters of undertaking.
    • Writing deposit top up letters to self-paying patients/relatives.
    • Ensuring that all patients pay the required deposit at the time of admission for any arrangements they are authorized by the right authority.
    • Admitting the patients in the system with the correct date and type of accommodation.
    • Giving the patient any information they require knowing.

    Discharges

    • Confirming that all relevant documents are provided at the point of discharge i.e. letters of undertaking from the insurances and corporates, NHIF documents from the patient/relatives, discharge summaries from the care management and doctor’s invoices.
    • Finalizing all the patients’ bills affecting NHIF where applicable and also giving discounts.
    • Seeking for extension from the insurance companies and corporates where the bill exceeds the amount in the undertaking letter.
    • Ensuring that all self-paying patients clear the bills before they are discharged or the undertakings are done by the authorized staff.
    • Ensuring that all patients who are supposed to sign the bills before discharge do the same.


    Registration
     

    • Confirmation of mode of payment.
    • Confirming validity for insurance or corporate patients.
    • Opening of new file.
    • Retrieving of old files.
    • Activation of patients.
    • Issuing of appointment cards.
    • Any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor, senior accountant or senior management from time to time.

    Job Specifications
     

    • CPA Part One.
       
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office as an added advantage.
    • One year of relevant experience.

    Resident ENT

    We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated visionary and results oriented candidate to fill in the below positions: Resident ENT

    Responsible for the provision of quality comprehensive specialised ENT surgical services.

    He / she will set up specialty ENT clinics within the hospital and in the branch centres.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan for and provide specialised ENT surgical services to Inpatient and Outpatient management of ENT patients in the hospital ensuring that they meet the expected standards of quality, quantity and compliance
    • Coordinate ENT surgery referral services within the hospital according to the ENT surgery services needs in collaboration with other hospital sections and departments. Support specialized ENT surgical services and services delivery in the surgery department of the hospital ensuring that they meet the expected standards of quality, quantity and compliance
    • Work with other medical specialists to solve single or multiple medical issue (s) or perform extensive surgery, when required in the hospital
    • Conduct specialized ENT Outpatient clinics.
    • Collect, record and maintain updated records of patients’ medical history, reports, and examination results.

    Keep abreast of advancements in ENT and best practices by attending seminars and conferences and participation in continuous medical education.

    Minimum Requirement:

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from a recognised institution.
    • Master of Medicine in ENT Surgery from a recognised institution.
    • Specialist Recognition by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
    • Registered, licenced and retained by the Kenya Medical Practitioners’ and Dentists’ Board.
    • At least two years’ experience as an ENT Surgeon.
    • Valid Practice License.
    • Computer literate.
    • Knowledge of relevant legislations.
    • Knowledge of professional standards.

    Resident Physician

    We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated visionary and results oriented candidate to fill in the below positions: Resident Physician

    Responsible for the management of Internal Medicine services in the Hospital that promotes patient safety, clinical quality, and contribute to the continuing professional development programs of the hospital.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Provide specialized medical services and service delivery in the internal medicine unit of the hospital, ensuring that they meet the expected standards of quality, quantity, and compliance.
    • Work with other medical specialists to solve single or multiple medical issue (s) or support the performance of extensive surgery, when required in the hospital.
    • Conduct specialized Outpatient clinics.
    • Collect, record and maintain updated records of patients’ medical history, reports, and examination results.
    • Keep abreast of advancements and best practices by attending seminars and conferences and participation in continuous medical education.

    Minimum requirement:

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
    • Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Tropical Medicine or equivalent.
    • Specialist Recognition by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
    • Experience in an In-patient hospital setting.
    • Must be Registered/Licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
    • At least two years post graduate working experience.
    • Excellent PR and communication skills.
    • A valid medical practicing license.
    • Professional insurance indemnity cover.
    • At least two (2) years of working experience as a General Physician in a reputable hospital.
