    Project Manager

    • The Project Manager will lead and manage the delivery of up to two large-scale projects, ensuring effective coordination, nancial oversight, reporting and stakeholder engagement. The role combines robust project management capabilities with elements of grant management, supporting seamless execution, compliance with funding requirements, and positive client and stakeholder relationships.

    Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Objective 1 - Project Management
    • Manage project lifecycles from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and budgets.
    • Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and mitigate risks using project management tools and dashboards.
    • Oversee nancial aspects, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and grant compliance.
    • Ensure quality control and adherence to Samuel Hall and client standards.
    • Objective 2 - Team Coordination and Development
    • Manage, coordinate and mentor project teams, clearly dening roles and responsibilities and monitoring progress
    • Organize and lead team meetings, facilitating effective communication and alignment
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and creative problem-solving to enhance project efciency and quality.
    • Identify training needs and support professional development within the team.
    • Objective 3 - Stakeholder Engagement
    • Manage stakeholder engagement and serve as clients' primary point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including funders and partners, to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and updates tailored to diverse audiences.
    • Represent the organisation at client meetings, workshops, and other forums.

    Qualications and Criteria

    • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in project management, budget oversight and team coordination preferably within a multi-national or NGO environment. Backgrounds such as management consulting, NGO grant management, or grant compliance are highly relevant.
    • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain effective communication.
    • Demonstrated ability to operate in entrepreneurial environments, navigate cross-geographies, and work collaboratively within a values-driven structure.
    • Prociency in project management tools ) and strong analytical skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant eld (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences). A Master’s degree or certications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving demands and complex environments

    Partnerships Intern

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Objective 1 – Partnerships Activities
    • Supporting the Partnerships team in identifying new business opportunities through ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP) searches.
    • Provide admin and ad-hoc support to new business development work, with tasks including but not limited to;
    • Support with research (such as context, and information on client/project) ahead of proposal development
    • Support on wider strategic development (ie. industry stakeholder mapping)
    • Take notes during meetings.
    • Support with collating and/or preparing administrative documents and policies for bids
    • Support on the development of materials ahead of partner, donor or networking meetings
    • Objective 2 – Proposal Support
    • Updating and formatting documents including policies and presentations in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or other software
    • Protecting SH’s brand identity through adherence to existing SH brand guidelines and templates.
    • Proofreading and copy editing to ensure suitably high standards in line with the SH style guides.
    • Ad hoc support for the research team to prepare research outputs (reports, briefs etc.) for external dissemination (if required).
    • Background research to inform media messaging and opinion pieces.

    Required

    • A Masters degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Statistics, International Economics, International Development Studies, Migration Studies or a related eld.
    • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
    • Prior knowledge of research in contexts of migration, displacement, and international development.
    • Awareness of key donors, institutional frameworks and stakeholders.
    • Excellent spoken and written skills in English
    • Creativity – willingness to contribute to brainstorms and share your own ideas.
    • Appetite for knowledge and improvement – enthusiasm and a desire to learn
    • Attention to detail – we work with governments, donors and international organizations that expect high standards.
    • Demonstrated interest in humanitarian and development work, foreign affairs, networking, relationship-building and marketing.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, the Google Suite, Twitter and LinkedIn.
    • Willing and available for periodic work travel.
    • Ability to be patient and to work well within a global team.
    • Ability to cope well under pressure, occasionally work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines.
    • Procient in French (native/uent)
