    Junior IT Associate

    Reporting to: Head of IT

    About the Role

    The Junior IT Associate is a support role in the IT department. The person will be in charge of all day-to-day IT operational roles plus any other Adhoc duties and support required in the IT department. This role will entail also coordinating with other departments knowing their IT needs and communicating to the IT team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install and configure computer networks and systems.
    • Identify and solve any problems that arise with computer networks and systems.
    • Consult with clients and the internal teams to specify system requirements and design solutions.
    • Assemble new systems, ensure the system is configured and test the system to ensure its running properly
    • Maintain existing software and hardware and upgrade any obsolete systems whenever required.
    • Monitor computer network systems functionality and how performance can be improved.
    • Set up IT accounts and workstations for employees.
    • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
    • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
    • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
    • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
    • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
    • Documentation of their current Systems and ensure IT processes are adhered to

    Does This Sound like you?

    1. Bachelor of Science in computer science or related fields. 
    2. Great people skills to enable you to explain repairs, time frame, ticketing process to colleagues.
    3. University degree in IT and other related fields. IT Certifications are an added advantage.
    4. At least 6 months to 1-year experience in a similar or related role.
    5. Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment.
    6. Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing IT Support Service.
    7. Proficiency with statistical languages (R, SAS,  STATA SPSS) and Programming languages, such as Oracle, and Python
    8. Strong working experience with MS Excel, MS Access, MySQL, and other databases
    9. Have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
    10. Comfortable with ambiguity and experience working in a dynamic environment.  
    11. Have discretion in using budgetary allocations
    12. Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
    13. Willingness and ability to handle any job assigned under your scope of work

    Sales Team Lead (Nairobi)

    Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager 

    About Role

    As a Sales Team Lead, you will be in charge of the Sales Agents in your territory. You will be responsible for managing sales, ensuring that targets are attained, and handling clients in the territory. You have to be dynamic, self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

    Responsibilities

    1. Recruitment and training.

      1. Source, identify and recruit astute and goal-oriented sales agents who will be willing and capable of selling SunCulture products
      2. Train, and onboard the sales agents to ensure they have all been set up for success  in bringing in sales and meeting the company KPIs
    2. Team Management

      1. Carry out daily and weekly check-ins with the teams to ensure there is maximum productivity
      2. Track Lead generation and selling processes of the sales agents
      3. Coordinate aftersales customer service to ensure brand strength
    3. Sales

      1. Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager in developing and establishing clear sales KPIs meant to be exceeded by the sales agents
      2. Monitor and push for numbers closures when it comes to the sales targets on the selling of SunCulture commodities
      3. Establish a rapport with the clients and also the community in ensuring that all the clusters allocated are fully utilized and understand SunCulture products and brand

    • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota
    • Strong leadership abilities and outstanding interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think and plan strategically, plan, manage, and act to achieve set outcomes.
    • Ability to work under deadline pressure and meet targets.
    • Passion for irrigation and in-depth knowledge of the industry and current trends adaptable for SunCulture
    • Independent thinker with proactive decision-making capabilities
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and experience working in a dynamic environment
    • Have the ability to handle pressure, meet targets, keep cool-temper, and handle rejection gracefully.
    • Be organized and be an expert in time management- both at personal and team levels
    • A diploma or degree is an added advantage.
