Role & Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate the Bomag/Dynapac machine to compact various materials such as soil, gravel, and murram, among others.
• Prepare surfaces by compacting soil and materials to ensure they meet the required density and specifications.
• Operate the Bomag / Dynapac and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Achieve specified compaction levels in subgrade and sub-base layers as directed.
• Carry out routine maintenance and daily machine checks.
• Report any mechanical issues or defects to the site supervisor promptly.
• Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and fellow equipment operators.
• Adhere to safety procedures and project quality requirements.
• Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.
• Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
• Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the management.

Skills and qualifications:

• Diploma in Heavy Plant Operations or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a Bomag or its equivalent.
• Ability to operate both the Bomag and the Dynapac compactors
• A strong understanding of safety and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Good planning skills and the ability to show initiative and positive attitude.
• Flexible, punctual, reliable and hardworking team player.
• Experience excavating trenches at various depths and paving roads.

We are seeking for a Dozer Operator will be responsible for operations related to pond and reservoir construction, as well as road construction projects. The operator will perform earthmoving, site clearance, excavation, and grading activities to ensure project success and adherence to engineering specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Site Preparation and Operation:

• Level construction sites and compact earthworks to prepare sites for building activities.
• Excavate murram, gravel, and other materials necessary for construction works.
• Clear and remove obstacles, debris, and vegetation to pave the way for installations and construction tasks.
• Follow detailed engineering plans and specifications to ensure accuracy in excavation and grading operations.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections to verify the bulldozer is in safe and efficient working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance, including checking and topping up fluids and oils, and greasing all moving parts as required.
• Report any detected maintenance issues or defects promptly to management for immediate repair actions.

Safety and Compliance:

• Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols, rules, and regulations throughout operations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) including helmets, gloves, boots, and high-visibility clothing.
• Follow manufacturer’s operating procedures to avoid damage to equipment and surrounding infrastructure.

Record Keeping and Reporting

• Maintain accurate daily logs of work hours, fuel consumption, and lubricants used.
• Document any incidents, repairs, or maintenance activities performed during operations.
• Ensure the dozer is securely locked and parked in a designated safe location at the end of each workday.
• Communicate regularly with the site manager or supervisor, providing updates on work progress and reporting any challenges or issues encountered.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Plant Operations, Heavy Equipment Operation, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating CAT dozers 
• Proven experience as a dozer and backhoe operator or in a similar heavy machinery operating role.
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery and earthmoving equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding and strict adherence to safety regulations and workplace procedures.
• Good physical condition and stamina to perform demanding tasks in varying site conditions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, focus, and a keen eye for detail to ensure precise grading and excavation work.

We are seeking for a reliable and experienced TLB Operator who will be responsible for operating a Tractor-Loader-Backhoe to perform a range of tasks including trenching, loading, backfilling, and general site preparation. This role requires a strong understanding of earthmoving operations, safe equipment handling, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled.
• Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored.
• Advise the managers of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Participate in routine maintenance.
• Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the management.

Requirements
