As a Fuels Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be making reference to laid out standards and policy to ensure that we deliver quality fuel into the network.

Responsibilities

• Calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
• Fuel quality monitoring, analysis, and reporting
• Periodic KOKO consumer hardware performance testing
• Ensuring the fuels testing laboratory is taken care of perform periodic inspection checks for product compliance in the network with set standards
• Ensure the safety of the work environment during quality checks
• Test products as per KOKO Labs procedures and reporting
• Participate in the fuel receipt with representatives of our fuel partners
• Participate in sourcing and replacement of the lab equipment on a need basis

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry related field (chemical engineering, pure chemistry, Industrial chemistry)or its equivalent
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work with testing equipment
• Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and precision
• Flexibility and adaptability in your attitude and approach to work

Your Role

As Business Operations Associate, you will help design solutions to strategic business problems alongside teams across KOKO and support implementation of these solutions as the company scales. This role is highly collaborative, with the vision that the "BizOps" team will work in service of teams across the business - much like an internal consulting unit. You will help identify problem spaces and use that knowledge to drive improvements across the business.

What You Will Do

• Work cross-functionally with KOKO’s commercial, engineering, product, operations, and executive teams
• Support in planning and delivering of key strategic initiatives, with a view to owning full projects from analysis to execution
• Support in gathering insights to understand problem spaces across the business and translate business problems into process and technology improvements for relevant teams
• Design and build tools and dashboards to make key data available to teams
• Analyze data to provide insights and effectively communicate these insights to team members and leadership
• Develop best practices among teams around process and solution design

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of work experience as a contributor on complex projects and programs
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills (ideally developed through management / strategy consulting experience, business operations, or product and software design roles)
• Experience supporting information-gathering exercises or leading stakeholder interviews
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations

As Senior Engineer, QA, you will lead a team of QA Engineers in ensuring high quality engineering. optimal performance, and reliability of large scale applications developed and deployed by KOKO Networks across server side, mobile and connected devices (IoT), using best in class software engineering practices. As a senior leader, you will inspire your team to achieve engineering excellence while maintaining a pragmatic approach towards software delivery.

What You Will Do

• Assess and improve technical quality of work performed by the QA Engineering team
• Assess and improve business understanding of QA Engineering team
• Prepare training and induction material to cover gaps
• Plan and coordinate software and systems releases
• Identify automation candidates and ensuring timely delivery of automation projects
• Collect performance feedback and satisfaction level and use it to address concerns of stakeholders and product managers
• Review performance, train, and up skill QA engineers
• Review and identify improvements in system performance
• Engage stakeholders and present the state of software quality such as code coverage, code quality, performance benchmarks, profiling at regular intervals
• Inspire team to follow best practices and achieve high professional delivery standards

What You Will Bring

• 7+ years of quality assurance experience, including developing test strategies, and creating test automation systems and frameworks
• 2+ years of experience testing web applications with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin / Cucumber / SpecFlow
• Strong technical skills using Selenium WebDriver
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration and delivery systems (CI/CD)
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience developing build automation systems using Gradle is a plus
• Experience developing test frameworks using Junit is a plus
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Jira, Bitbucket and Docker is a plus
