REQUIREMENTS

The candidates must

• Have a PhD in Nursing (Medical Surgical Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health Nursing, Nursing Education, Medical Physiology, immunology) or its equivalent qualification from an accredited and recognized University

OR

• Have a Master’s degree in Medical Surgical Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health Nursing, Nursing Education, Medical Physiology, immunology (in some special cases) with 3 years teaching experience at the University
• Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or its equivalent qualification from an accredited and recognized University.
• Have a Minimum of 24 publication points of which 16 should be from refereed journal papers
• Be registered and have a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
