    Business Development Analyst

    About the job Business Development Analyst

    Ilara Health is seeking to recruit a Business Development Analyst to support the expansion of new medical products and business lines for deployment across clinics in various regions. Ilara Health distributes new, high quality diagnostic devices to underserved primary health clinics that struggle to afford even basic equipment. The successful candidate/s will be responsible for improving sales revenue and building a sustainable customer base. The ideal person for this job has experience working in agile, fast-paced environments and is comfortable working autonomously across various teams. 

    Responsibilities 

    1. Strategic support 
    2. Support in strategies to identify new opportunities 
    3. Evaluating and improving sales strategies, as well as identifying new customers
    4. Adding value to product offerings to increase sales 
    5. Analyzing consumer behavior to meet product demand and preferences
    6. Performing competitor analysis toward an increased market share 
    7. Sales and Business Development 
    8. Identifying and negotiating sales deals that promote sustained income 
    9. Generating leads that will lead to increased sales 

    Requirements 

    Minimum Requirements 

    1. Bachelor's degree 
    2. Previous experience in business development or sales 
    3. Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software 
    4. Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients 
    5. Competency in researching sales leads, presenting proposals, and negotiating deals
    6. Ability to advise on strategic industry partnerships 
    7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 
    8. Familiarity with office applications as well as Google Drive, Google Forms, Google sheets Preferred 
    9. Advanced knowledge of business development and sales strategies. 
    10. Proficiency in using HubSpot or equivalent CRM
    11. Experience working in the health sector working in the same role or in sales.
    12. Demonstrated understanding of the medical diagnostics landscape in Kenya 
    13. Basic technical knowledge of diagnostic devices is a plus 
    14. Willingness to spend time in the field interacting with customers to understand their needs

    Remote Sonographer- Telemedicine Ultrasound

    As a Sonographer implementing TeleGuidance projects, you will be responsible for delivering quality ultrasound examinations to clients, training health practitioners involved in the projects and making quality reports to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct effective ultrasound procedures;
    • Conduct training to remote facilities on TeleGuidance utilization;
    • Support in the development of training materials  for TeleGuidance; 
    • Participate in the company meetings;
    • Ensure adequate and correct information is given to patients regarding the procedures;
    • Ensure timely availability of images to facilitate timely reporting and dispatch of reports; 
    • Assume responsibility for the safety of the client during the sonographic examinations;
    • Maintain client privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws and facility policies and procedures;
    • Assume responsibility for the preventive maintenance for ultrasound equipment to ensure it operates at optimal level at all times;
    • Participate in preparation and implementation of quality initiatives aimed at improving overall the services and any other tasks that can be assigned by the Lead Sonographer, Project Lead and Programme Managers.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in medical imaging, Higher diploma in ultrasound, degree in radiography from a recognized institution
    • Must be registered with the Society of Radiography Kenya (SORK)
    • Must possess a valid practicing license issued by the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority 
    • Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice
    • Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams
    • Must be a flexible person, who is willing to travel and learn and able to work flexible hours to achieve goals (the position requires to work in shifts during weekends)
    • Must demonstrate professional expertise in relevant work area
