    Laboratory Technologist

    We seek to recruit a Laboratory Technologist who is part of the Commercial Services Department and reports to the Centre Manager. The Laboratory Technologist is responsible for all laboratory activities within the Centre. This will include performing routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data to the health care team for optimal diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease states. The Laboratory Technologist may also be required to conduct other activities as assigned by the Centre Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognised institution.
    • Valid License from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board
    • Minimum of two (2) years post training experience in the same position

    Skills

    • Capable of performing tests in all clinical laboratory sections: bacteriology, immunohematology, chemistry, haematology, parasitology, serology and urinalysis
    • Fully aware of quality control protocols
    • Fully conversant on Infection prevention and control

    Pharmaceutical Technologist

    The Pharmaceutical Technologist will be responsible for performing tasks related to dispensing pharmaceutical products and stock management responsibilities, which include receiving of goods, storage and distribution of goods. They will be required to liaise and work closely with the Procurement Team to ensure that the Centre’s stock management policy is adhered to and core objectives of MSK are achieved. This is a full time role.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Pharmacy from accredited institutions by Pharmacy and Poisons Board
    • Registered with the Pharmaceutical Technologist with Pharmacy and Poisons Board
    • · Minimum of three (3) years post training experience in the same position
    • At least a Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience in warehouse and stores management preferably with a medical store.
    • The Candidate should have experience working with any ERP system.

    Skills

    • Proven experience in Warehouse management and stock control.
    • Computer Literate
    • Good communication skills
    • Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contra indications, dosing, side effects and proper administration
    • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
    • Ability to train other assigned staff as necessary 
    • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards

    Service Provider/Nurse

    Reporting to and working with the Center Manager, the Service Provider/Nurse’s main role is to maintain the high clinical standards expected by MSK and actively work to promote the clinic and contribute to improved financial performance. The nurse promotes and restores patients’ health through collaboration with all team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, he/she also supervises other team members.

    Registered Clinical Officer – Paediatric

    We seek to recruit a Registered Clinical Officer Paediatrics for the Nairobi based maternity home who is part of the Commercial Services Department and reports to the Business Manager. The RCO – Paediatric role plays an important part this role plays an important part in effective clinical teamwork and is responsible for high quality frontline service delivery to our clients. S/he must provide fast, efficient, professionally accurate services that meet and exceed our minimum quality standards for safe abortion, family planning and counselling services.     Qualifications

    • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery and Higher Diploma in Paediatrics and Child Health
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
    • Registered by the Kenya Clinical Officers Council and in possession a valid practice license.
    • Trained in IMCI.
    • Certification in the short emergency courses (ETAT+, EPLS or EmONC) will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

    Maternity Matron

    Reporting to the Hospital Manager and deputizing the Business Manager, this role plays an important part in effective clinical teamwork and is responsible for high quality frontline service delivery to our clients. Through strong clinical leadership the Matron will support Eastleigh Nursing Home to promote excellence in obstetrics and gynaecology, nursing and midwifery. The post holder will ensure that all clients are treated with compassion, dignity and respect placing value on the diversity of the local community and beyond. She will promote best practice in the prevention of infection through ensuring a clean and safe environment.

    The Matron’s key responsibility is to ensure that the patient experience is of the highest quality inspiring patient and public confidence. This will be achieved through high visibility, accessibility and constant surveillance. The post holder will be expected to be a specialist (mid-wifery) in their clinical area and support the running of operations in the in-patient wards.
