    Assistant Project Manager

    Qualifications

    • Certificate/ Diploma in Telecommunications, Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Suites.
    • Effective communication skills in both oral and written.
    • Project management certifications is an added advantage.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support Project manager in planning and executing project activities
    • Coordinate with field teams, work schedules to ensure achievement of daily deliverables
    • Prepare daily and weekly project reports.
    • Ensure deliverables meet or exceed user expectations.
    • Ensure project adherence to required QEHS standards.
    • Track project progress and ensure client timelines and SLA are met.
    • Communicate with clients, stakeholders and provide accurate updates and reports.
    • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
    • Maintain effective communication between clients and technical teams.
    • Identify opportunities for service improvement and expansion.

    Lead Fiber Technician

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/ Degree in Telecommunication, Fiber optics or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of fiber network concepts.
    • Proficiency in fiber handling & maintenance.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead field teams in fibre installation, maintenance and fault restoration
    • Installing and terminating fiber optic cables and other network equipment.
    • Diagnose and resolve fibre network faults within agreed SLA.
    • Ensure work is completed according to set technical and safety standards
    • Observing Health & Safety guidelines and ensuring quality assurance throughout the implementation and maintenance period.
    • Work with Assistant technicians and submit job completion reports.
    • Educating clients on basic troubleshooting processes and answering fiber optic related questions from customers.
    • Individuals will work as a team with other technicians and NOC personnel and report to field supervisors.
    • Fiber link faulting and faults resolutions within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
    • Splicing fiber optics at various fiber distribution hubs, troubleshooting and testing fiber links with a light source, optical power meters and an OTDR.
    • Providing timely updates on fiber faults to the NOC personnel and ensuring excellent customer service to the client.
    • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

    Assistant Fiber Technician

    Responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of fibre optic networks and related telecommunications equipment. Requires a relevant qualification in telecommunications, fibre optics, electrical engineering, or a related field The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.

    Qualifications

    • Certificate/Diploma in Telecommunication, Fiber optics or related field.
    • 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
    • Basic understanding of fiber network concepts.
    • Proficiency in fiber handling & maintenance.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

    NOC Coordinator

    NOC Coordinator at Fireside Group. Responsible for coordinating network operations, monitoring network performance, managing incidents, and ensuring timely resolution of connectivity and infrastructure issues. Requires a relevant qualification in information technology, telecommunications, networking, or a related field. The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Engineering or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of fiber network and concepts.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead NOC operations and coordinate dispatch activities.
    • Ensure compliance with agreed SLA and escalation procedures.
    • Track work orders and ensure timely updates from the field teams.
    • Monitor incidents, faults, tickets and restoration timelines.
    • Coordinate between NOC dispatch, field technicians and project management
    • Ensure all tickets are closed within the approved MTTR
    • Promptly escalate issues for intervention as expected.
    • Provide regualr and high-quality updates to clients on the status of tickets, adhering to the agreed timelines.
    • Ensure Service Level Agreements are maintained and exceeded through efficient ticket management.
    • Prepare daily reports on all scopes achieved.
    • Maintaining a good relationship and rapport with the clients.
    • Ensure 100% compliance on EHS standards for the teams in regions being handled.
    • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
