    Environmental Health Safety Specialist

    KEDA (Kenya) Ceramics Company Ltd, a leading manufacturer of high-quality ceramic tiles, is seeking to recruit a competent and motivated Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer to join our team. If you are passionate about ensuring workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and regulatory compliance we’d love to hear from you!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
    • Develop, implement, and update EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
    • Investigate incidents and near-misses, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Lead employee training and awareness programs on EHS best practices.
    • Prepare and submit EHS reports to management and regulatory bodies.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct periodic drills.
    • Continuously monitor and improve EHS performance metrics.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
    • At least 2 year of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Strong understanding of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

    Internal Audit Manager

    The Anti-Fraud & Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting fraud risk assessments, investigating allegations of misconduct, and performing internal audits across sales, procurement, inventory, and cost management processes. This role ensures compliance, promotes integrity, and strengthens the company’s internal control environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Anti-Fraud Audit:

    • Conduct daily anti-fraud audits, including market research and investigation of whistleblower reports.
    • Collect and analyze evidence to identify fraudulent behaviors or integrity breaches.

    Sales Audit:

    • Perform customer reconciliations and market inquiries.
    • Prepare detailed audit research reports.

    Procurement Audit:

    • Conduct supplier reconciliations and investigate potential conflicts of interest.
    • Analyze market data and prepare procurement audit reports.

    Inventory Audit:

    • Perform monthly and daily inventory audits to verify accuracy and prevent asset loss.

    Cost Audit:

    • Audit the authenticity and accuracy of costs such as advertising, transportation, and logistics.

    Training & Awareness:

    • Organize and conduct anti-fraud and integrity training sessions for employees.

    Other Duties:

    • Complete ad hoc investigations or projects as assigned by the Audit Manager.

    Education Qualification

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Auditing

    Certification

    CPA or CIA certification

    Language

    • English as the working language

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years in internal audit, with hands-on anti-fraud and investigation experience

    Showroom Customer Care Specialist

    This is a customer-facing, sales-driven role based in our luxury showroom. You’ll be responsible for delivering a world-class consultation experience to our high-end clientele from first contact to after-sales service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Warmly welcome and guide customers through product selection, offering professional consultations on tiles and bathroom products.
    • Explain design concepts, materials, craftsmanship, and technology benefits.
    • Inspire purchases through model room displays and visual merchandising.
    • Manage customer relationships through follow-ups, service, and support.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, International Trade, or related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years in high-end retail or real estate sales.
    • Experience in tile/sanitaryware sales is preferred.
    • Familiarity with luxury sales standards and client service.

    Languages:

    • Fluent in English and Swahili.
    • Arabic or Chinese is a plus.

    Appearance & Demeanor:

    • Elegant, well-dressed, and confident aligned with luxury retail standards.

    Core Skills:

    • Strong sales judgment and closing ability.
    • Quick communication and response to client needs.
    • Culturally aware and capable of cross-lingual communication.
