    Orthopedic Surgeon (3 Posts)

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Provide orthopedic surgical services and services delivery in the orthopedic surgery unit of the hospital ensuring that they meet the expected standards and compliance in the hospital. 
    • Coordinate orthopedic surgery referral services within and without the hospital according to the orthopedic surgery services needs in collaboration with other hospital sections and units and within the framework of the hospital and national referral policies.

    Nuclear Medicine Physician (3 Posts)

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Generate medical information and review patient medical history in order to guide and inform the appropriate diagnosis procedures in the Molecular Imaging Centre (IMIC) and radiology unit of the hospital. 
    • Receive patients referred from other medical units for PET/CT Scanning, radiologic and other imaging diagnosis, and schedule them for the respective radiology and therapeutic procedures in the hospital.
    • Perform or interpret nuclear imaging procedures including positron emission tomography (PET), nuclear cardiology treadmill studies in the hospital. 
    • Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings and communicate examination results or diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients and families in the hospital. 
    • Provide advanced PET/CT Imaging and other nuclear medicine services in order to diagnose complex or complicated medical conditions among patients in the hospital.

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Competently perform a range of radiotherapy techniques, CT simulations and mould room procedures whilst ensuring high standards are maintained.

    Cardic Technologists /Echo Cardiographers (Re-advertisement) (2 Posts)

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Proper patient preparation including detailed explanation of the respective test.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience 

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB)/ Medical Degree)
    • Master of Medicine in internal medicine from a recognized institution.
    • Fellowship Nephrology from a recognized institution.
    • Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
    • Subspecialty recognition in nephrology by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
    • Valid practicing license.
    • A valid professional insurance indemnity cover.
    • Proficiency in computer applications.
    • A minimum of two (2) years’ working experience as a Nephrologist in a busy hospital..
