    Dean of Academics

    Job Description:

    Reporting to the Principal NWH College, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and coordination of all academic programs while ensuring adherence to the required tertiary education regulatory standards. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring quality, consistency, and continuity of the academic programmes.

    Qualifications:

    •  Bachelors degree preferably in a health related field with certification in pedagogy.
    • Masters degree in Medical Education/Education or a related field will be a distinct advantage.
    • Active knowledge of TVETA requirements and tertiary education management will be required. This position requires active knowledge and experience in developing training programmes and managing faculty.
    • The successful candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years cumulative experience in a similar position in a recognized medical training college.

    Course Coordinator, Specialized Nursing Programs

    Job Description: 

    Reporting to the Head of Department- Health Sciences, the successful candidate will be responsible for overall coordination of the Specialized Nursing Programs and ensuring delivery of quality instruction. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for facilitating clinical teaching during student rotations in the hospitals.

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc.N) with a Post graduate Diploma or masters degree in Nursing (ICU/Theatre/ Nephrology/ Oncology/Midwifery )
    • with at-least two (2) years of work experience of specialised nursing practice and education , of which one (1) year must be in teaching. Possession of Pedagogy training will be a distinct advantage. Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya, with a valid practicing License.
