Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Italian dishes following culinary techniques and recipes.
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings, and bake pizzas to required standards.
• Ensure consistent taste, portion sizes, food quality, and presentation across all dishes.
• Prepare fresh ingredients and maintain proper food storage practices.
• Operate professional kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, kitchen safety, cleanliness, and workstation organization.
• Monitor food inventory stock levels and minimize wastage.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth, efficient service.
• Assist with menu planning and suggest culinary improvements where appropriate

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Italian Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment.
• Demonstrable experience in pizza preparation, including dough making, sauces, toppings, and professional oven operations.
• Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to handle kitchen pressure during peak service hours with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Formal culinary training, Italian nationality, or background working in an authentic Italian kitchen is an added advantage
