About The Role

• We are looking for a results-focused Area Collections Executive (ACE) to deliver portfolio collections and risk management within the hub. The role focuses on resolving defaulted and low-consumption accounts, managing complex customer cases, and assisting Energy Officers with difficult collections and repossessions.
• The ACE will play a key role in protecting portfolio quality, improving customer payment behaviour and ensuring timely resolution of emerging portfolio risks. This is a hub-based role with significant field engagement.

What you would be expected to do

• Default resolution — carrying out repossession and ensuring recovery is carried out effectively and that recovered products are delivered to the depot, while assisting field teams to close on pending repossessions 
• Portfolio recovery & resolution — contacts allocated accounts and actions payment resolutions
• Relocations — verifies client relocation requests, coordinates account transfers between hubs, and manages recovery or closure for clients moving outside operational areas.
• Impromptu uninstallations — Handles urgent uninstallation requests that fall outside scheduled activities, coordinating field teams for retrieval and escalating exceptional cases.
• Fraud, misconduct & tampering — Reports fraud, misconduct, and product tampering, documenting findings and escalating them to the Risk Manager.
• Repossession disputes — Addresses customer complaints arising from repossessions, reviews EO (Energy Officers) compliance, and resolves disputes or repayment arrangements.
• Client & EO (Energy Officers) conflict resolution — Investigates and resolves disputes between clients and EOs, escalating serious cases to management.
• Theft & stolen products — Manages stolen product reports, verifies incidents, coordinates recovery, and escalates cases to the Risk Manager.
• Repayment alignments & consumption requests — Reviews repayment concerns and cookstove replacement requests by checking account and payment history.
• Contract terms — Clarifies contractual terms and ownership transfers and resolves related disputes.
• Coordinates & photo handover — Provides verified client location and ID details to EOs (Energy Officers) for visits to clients who refuse to engage, in line with the data protection policy.
• Non-recoverable account switches — Escalates accounts from EO (Energy Officer) to Risk Manager where recovery attempts have failed and ensures portfolio metrics do not unfairly penalize agents for advance bulk payments.
• Providing weekly updates to Sales and Risk management teams on-field interventions performed and results achieved, along with customer insights.
• Reporting any cases of product tampering observed in the field through the process and mechanism established by the Risk team.
• Training Agents (Energy Officers) on dealing with repossessions and difficult customer collection issues.
• Driving operating rhythm to follow-up with Agents (Field Officers) to ensure they are completing their collection calls and repossession tasks on time.

You might be a strong candidate if you:

• Have at least 2 years of experience preferably in the Collections
• Have credit management Experience in a MFI/Bank/Fintech/PAYGO company (Added Advantage)
• Have experience as a motorbike rider 
• Have great people skills.
• Have fraud detection & Investigation.
• Are attentive to detail.
• Are Proficient in Microsoft Excel 
• Have problem-solving capabilities.
• Have good communication and presentation skills.
• Are a good planner.
• Have previous work experience in Field collections (Added Advantage.)

About the role:

• This role owns brand and performance marketing for EasyCook, Sun King's pay as you go LPG cooking gas product. The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for growing customer usage and loyalty across Sun King's EasyCook hub network in Kenya, working closely with the commercial and field teams to bring the product to more households and to help existing customers get more value from it. The role sits within the Kenya marketing team and reports to the Head of Marketing, Kenya.

What you would be expected to do:

• Develop a clear customer segmentation strategy and tailored marketing plans that drive purchase and regular usage of EasyCook.
• Own and deliver the marketing plan for EasyCook, driving customer engagement and usage across the hub network.
• Apply a data driven, commercially minded approach to decision making, with disciplined tracking of marketing activity against results.
• Develop and manage a customer loyalty and retention programme for EasyCook customers.
• Support the launch of new EasyCook hubs, including branding, activation, and local marketing materials.
• Develop marketing initiatives to grow EasyCook's presence with institutional and business customers.
• Develop and submit marketing execution plans and campaign briefs for internal approval, with a clear and defensible business case for spend.
• Design and manage field incentive programmes that support marketing objectives.
• Brief and manage agencies and vendors supporting EasyCook marketing activity, including media, activations, and trade visibility materials.
•  Report on marketing performance and campaign results across the hub network.
• Work with the EasyCook commercial team and cross functional partners on decisions that affect marketing execution.

You might be a strong candidate if you have:

•  Experience marketing cooking solutions or a comparable mass market consumer product, with clear, demonstrable commercial results from past marketing activity.
• An entrepreneurial, commercially minded approach to marketing, with strong analytical skills and a track record of data driven decision making and disciplined activity tracking.
• Three to five years of experience in brand management, category management, or trade marketing, ideally within FMCG, telecom, financial services, or another pay as you go or subscription-based consumer business.
• A track record of running data led marketing campaigns with a clear baseline, intervention, and measured outcome, rather than activity for its own sake.
• Experience designing or managing a loyalty, rewards, or incentive programme.
• Comfort working with revenue and usage metrics such as ARPU, and the ability to build a constructible return on investment case.
• Experience managing field facing programmes, agent networks, or last mile distribution in an emerging market context.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

About the role

• The role covers the employee life cycle from onboarding to exit, keeps employee records and HR systems accurate, and handles first line queries from employees and line managers. It suits someone early in an HR career who wants to learn business partnering by doing the operational work that sits underneath it, with guidance from an experienced HRBP.

What you will be expected to do:

Employee records and systems

• Keep employee data accurate and current on the HR information system. Process joiners, movers and leavers, prepare contracts and letters, and keep employee files complete and secure.

Onboarding

• Coordinate inductions for new joiners, prepare their paperwork and system access ahead of day one, and check in with them through probation.

First line employee queries

• Answer employee questions on policy, leave, medical cover and benefits within set turnaround times. Refer matters that need advisory input to the HR Business Partner.

Hiring assistance

• Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, reference and background checks, and offer documentation for roles in your business unit.

Employee relations assistance

• Take accurate minutes at disciplinary and grievance meetings, maintain case files, and track review dates for probation and performance improvement plans.

People reporting

• Prepare monthly headcount, leave, attrition and probation reports, and flag anything that looks wrong in the data.

Engagement and culture

• Assist with engagement activities, wellbeing sessions and policy awareness sessions for your business unit.

You might be a strong candidate if you have:

• A degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of HR experience, which can include an internship, attachment or HR assistant role.
• Registration with the Institute of Human Resource Management (an added advantage).
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously without losing track of any.
• Discretion when handling private employee information and maintain appropriate privacy at all times.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels.
• Experience interacting with HRIS systems and proficiency in computer applications.
