    Kenya ITO Tablets Coordinator

    Job Description

    Specific job responsibilities include but not limited to: 

    Tablet Support:

    • Primary contact for Mobile/Tablet issues – Hardware and Software.
    • The first point of contact for escalation of mobile/tablet support issues.
    • Test and implement mobile/tablet setup, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance standards for use in the organization.
    • Test and implement Mobile/Tablet management for the organization.
    • Test and implement Mobile/Tablet inventory management techniques for the organization.
    • Test and implement the Mobile/Tablet enrollment procedure to enable tablet enrollment.

    Act as a department liaison:

    • Work closely with Mobile Team Lead to plan and coordinate mobile/tablet setup and configuration activities.
    • Heavy coordination with Program Innovation and Field Operations staff to review usability, features, issues and feedback.
    • Heavy coordination with other departments to review feature/function changes and to streamline device setup.
    • Coordinating with other departments regarding Mobile/Tablet Purchase, Setup, Configuration and maintenance.
    • Manage/coordinate Mobile/Tablet hardware/software requests from other department.

    Documentation and reporting:

    • Follow and write mobile support documentation i.e. processes (setup, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance).
    • Keep track of problems and repairs-log all tasks performed and provide for check-ins.
    • Daily interface with the Mobile Device Management team for reporting and identification of issues.
    • Compile weekly reports as determined by the Mobile Team Lead and program needs.

    Frequent field visits to test, observe, implement, critique and build experience with mobile tools.

    Kenya Analytics Coordinator

    Responsibilities

    Data Capture and Analysis

    • Work with different partners to build data user stories that determine and address data, analysis and reporting needs for different department projects.
    • Translate the different data user stories into statistical data models (such as regression and predictive models) that respond to partners’ data analysis and reporting needs.
    • Draw meaningful insights from data by using effective methods to track patterns, classify and/or associate different data sets.
    • Extract, Aggregate, Transform (using a statistical computing programming language such as R/Python) and Load alternative data sets onto dashboards in and other visualization tools

    Data Visualization and Reporting

    • Prepare reports and share important takeaways and recommendations with the important partners, this would include creating data dashboards, graphs, and infographics for presenting findings for ongoing reports
    • Proactively work with departments to ensure that the reports provided are tailored to their priorities and support their requirements.
    • Use data visualizations tools (such as PowerBI) to build data flows and share meaningful insights with the different departments - An ideal candidate should be able to integrate excel, R and different custom data connectors to the visualization tools
    • Aggregate different data sets and infographics into a weekly email newsletter and communicate it to the relevant departments

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science or any other related fields
    • At least one year of experience in a data science/analytics/analysis role or equivalent position
    • Fluency with R mandatory. Familiarity with Python and other data transformation programming languages preferred.
    • Fluency with using SQL/ NoSQL to pull and edit data from databases and/or data warehouse
    • Experienced in statistical data modeling
    • Fluency with data visualization tools (PowerBI is highly preferred) is an added advantage.

    Kenya Delivery Officer

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The main purpose of the Delivery Officer is to ensure that trucks leave and return to the warehouse on time and are loaded and unloaded correctly with the right number inputs also coordinate truck needs and act as a link between transporters, the loading team (KK Security), the field team and the warehouse team. You will be reporting to Logistics Deputy Fleet and QC supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Verify that all trucks are available, track departure time - Partner with transporters to make sure all truck needs for loading are accurate and have enough fuel. 
    • Follow up with the transporter on truck issues - In case of breakdowns communicate with transporters to make sure trucks are repaired or backup trucks provided within the shortest time possible without compromising logistics operations.
    • Follow up with trucks’ progress in the field and prepare truck returns - Making follow-ups with Truck Drivers (TMs) about progress on the ground for smooth delivery.
    • Support loading assistants in coordinating loading and offloading of inputs on trucks - Provide support to loading assistants and ensure loading is according to the TMSs.
    • Oversight in loading trucks according to the TMS and making sure all returns from the field have been verified and indicated on the warehouse returns section on the TMS.
    • Ensure that all partners (Drivers, loading assistants, and loaders) follow the ministry of health COVID-19 mitigation and prevention strategies.

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • 6 months of working experience.
    • Diploma in any business-related field or equivalent experience.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in standard software applications

    Preferred Start Date

    Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, start dates can vary significantly by role. We are adapting rapidly to Covid-19 and most of our team is now working remotely. Given the changing environment, we will appreciate your flexibility in confirming a start date.
